There’s no harm in asking questions at all I just think the way it was phrased wasn’t the best way to ask. As in ‘why is she wearing wigs I would never’ ‘or why won’t she show her real hair’.

Yes if you know nothing on the subject I understand you won’t know but there is such history on micro-aggressions against black women for their hair types and what they choose to do with their hair. With that comes sensitivity so instead of going at someone for the way they react, I would say do some learning on the matter and move on. For you it’s not deep at all it doesn’t impact your everyday life but for POC it is an almost everyday occurrence having people question your hair type.

And I say this with absolutely no malice I am just trying to explain why it can be a touchy subject.

Don't want to sound dramatic but Laura truly ruined tonight's show for me.
She has very hostile energy. We need an upbeat, nice presenter.

She is so stilted and brittle. It is like she never watches the show - just has notes handed to her minutes before to catch up a few key points.
I don't think I ever realised how effortless Caroline made it seem.

You really do miss Caroline, like love island was her thing and she was so natural and great at presenting it, never felt fake or forced. I always still get sad and emotional when I see old clips of her. She really was one of a kind and definitely cannot be replaced, as proven tonight.

Caroline is what Love Island was. Sexy, funny, flirty. She was iconic and just had it.

Laura doesn’t have ‘it’. I get people say Maya Jama because she is easy going, flirty and fun etc but I think her ego would overshadow it plus there’s Twitter backlash about her being ‘colourist’.
But someone fun and fiery but most of all EASY TO WATCH needs to take over.
