I just wanted to say when I mentioned SPICE BAG the first time..I really thought ye had it in the UK I genuinely did NOT realise what a spice bag was for UK ppl...but at least if any of ye ever come to Ireland I'm sure the first thing ye will be doing is munching down a spice bag with a fat frog lol so happy the SPICE BAG will be forever immortalised here and just for good memories here's a photo lol

i just think it’s brilliant!! It’s my fave thing from the Chinese but have to order the chicken and chips seperarelt as salt and pepper. The fact it comes in one and in a bag not a box is brilliant!!
Even if it’s years down the line, I will hunt this down and I am determined to post a picture .

a spice bag is something very different in Yorkshire so this to me was priceless

Well what a loooooong 8 weeks that was.

these threads have kept me interested, swallowed up more time than actual love island did, educated me on spice bags and also frustrated the life out of me

mad to think I had covid on the first week and I’m still suffering now

There’s still no need for it. Surely you’re not expected to know or learn about every different hair type, she literally asked a question. I didn’t even know it was wigs till about 4 weeks in. If someone asked me why I wear extensions I wouldn’t get my flaps in a twist

There’s no harm in asking questions at all I just think the way it was phrased wasn’t the best way to ask. As in ‘why is she wearing wigs I would never’ ‘or why won’t she show her real hair’.

Yes if you know nothing on the subject I understand you won’t know but there is such history on micro-aggressions against black women for their hair types and what they choose to do with their hair. With that comes sensitivity so instead of going at someone for the way they react, I would say do some learning on the matter and move on. For you it’s not deep at all it doesn’t impact your everyday life but for POC it is an almost everyday occurrence having people question your hair type.

And I say this with absolutely no malice I am just trying to explain why it can be a touchy subject.

Gutted for Chloe and Toby, I feel like they not only grew so much as a couple but also matured individually. Like we literally watched it happen day by day. Just feel like they deserved the win more for that. They were both completely different people going into that villa and now they’ve changed for the better.
