It’s ridiculous but whoever wrote that might not even be watching the season and just made a typo. Milliam and chloby are the clear front runners and Faye has basically dominated every episode of the last two weeks so if someone isn’t watching they might forget the other two. There’s no excuse for it though - ridiculous.

Aftersun will be done from Majorca tonight I assume? Will there be an audience?

Agree I’d say it was a genuine mistake from the paper. Sure in Ireland the hosts of tv shows talking about it haven’t a clue. You just know a lot of reporting on LI is done by people who don’t watch the show!
ETA: it has to be a mistake because I believe there’s no vote between now and the final (tomorrow) anyway?
In today’s first look the 4 couples are celebrating being a finalist, so the newspaper couldn’t have revealed that Kaz and Tyler ‘aren’t finalists’ because they clearly are! They might well be the first couple to go tomorrow but that doesn’t take away the fact they’re finalists.

also yeah laura said on aftersun last week it will be live from Mallorca this week.

Yep! I’ve noticed from the start she’s been the most followed consistently through the series.

Millie is a close second for most followed I think, and I can see her being generally more popular after the show as an influencer so she’ll prob surpass Liberty sometime!

Especially when something topical comes up ie Jake and the gaslighting. The amount of moronic tweets and “meaningful” Instagram posts from Irish media people about the gaslighting but you could tell they had never watched the show and just wanted to capitalise on the fact it was topical and they could go all #metoo on it for easy likes and clickbait. I thought fionnuala Moran summed up the situation on her Instagram stories yesterday perfectly.

I always think Dani Dyer is SO undeserving of her massive Instagram following. Initially because she was a boring played it safe islander, but also for sticking with her criminal partner up until he got sent down and faces the public backlash.
not saying Libertys as bad lol but she doesn’t deserve the massive following.

Lmao I don’t think the budget was as badly handled this year for the dates as last year… I’d be raging if after 8 weeks my friends went on safaris and stuff and my final date was a campfire with a small bbq 🥴

I don’t think it’ll last. She doesn’t seem to have much plans beyond being a memorable islander. Once they novelty wears off she’ll probably lose a lot of followers. Even her story about how she’s glad she’s inspired so many people had me 🙄. Like I’m glad she did what’s best for her and stayed true to herself. I just don’t need to hear her repeating it via stories for the foreseeable.
