I know a lot of people think that Liam and Tyler aren’t genuine, but I actually think Toby might be the one to stray. He’s comfortable right now but the fact that he’s never had a girlfriend and was willing to go through that many girls in such a small period of time doesn’t give me much hope that him and Chloe will work on the outside.
 
Chloe and Toby are the clear winners for me. The last date with Millie and Liam was absolute cringe start to finish. Millie really wants to win you can tell. It’s also like CA never happened or the Movie Night meltdown never happened with the nonsense these couples are spouting convincing nobody.

Chloe and Toby have provided the entertainment and deserve to win.

I dont think Chloe will be all that bothered tbh, they have a lot of fun together but I can see them both moving on

On Chloe, I have to be honest, she has a thing for a certain demographic (mixed and black men) but she is from posh Oxford so I find her quotes annoying cos she is essentially picking up phrases in order to appeal to her demographic a bit more. I think she very fake and her little roadman act will be old news very soon. She will back to being the middle class mum of 2 in no time LOL

I wonder if the producers have told them to wear makeup and bikinis during the day, same with the guys being in shorts. I remember they'd wear normal holiday clothes during the day in the other series, but I've not seen that at all this series. Not a chance I could wear makeup all day without turning into a sweaty mess!

I think I read here they have to wear swimwear in the day. Possibly makeup too then?

Want to try and be positive and say nice things about islanders rather than nasty when we see 1 out of 24 hours (if that). Think would be cool to say what we love about these guys and girls and less about what we dislike as nobody’s perfect

Teddy - mature, cool, lots of empathy/kind

Kaz - smart, compassionate, joyous

Millie - stylish, witty

Liam - funny, calm

Chloe - hilarious, playful,

Faye - loyal, principled

Toby - growth, fun, supportive

Tyler - fun, suave

RE the Kaz posts, wanted to say I think she is absolutely stunning. She also comes across as a really nice person. I do like her, but I think she’s maybe a bit less exciting to watch than the others? I see so much chemistry with Chloe/Toby and Gavin/Stacey but with Kaz I think she just seems to be in a couple where the fancy each other a bit and get on… not passionately falling head over heels. From a viewer perspective it’s a bit boring to watch…

She’s probably the one I’d like to see doing well after LI and I’d be interested in her journey, but I don’t think she will win. Also she’s had barely any screen time in the last week. You can see how the editing can either make or break you on the outside!

This was the first (and last) season of Love Island I will watch.
I have enjoyed these threads far more than the actual show but I'm going to bow out now.
Thank you to ye all for your opinions, the memes and the laughs.

FAYE & TEDDY: I liked him when he came in initially. However, since Faye's outburst, I believe he has been playing along as he thinks since she wasn't voted out after that tit, then she must be liked. She has major personal issues she needs to sort out before she will ever be happy. I do admire the way she is not afraid to call bullshit out, it's the way she does it that needs addressing.

KAZ & TYLER: The only issue I have with Kaz would be the way she treated Matt (stringing him along while waiting for Tyler to make up his mind). Out from that (and the occasional shriek) I think she has been a decent islander. Tyler is not into her at all. He wanted to stay in the villa: he saw that wasn't going to happen with Clarisse so wormed his way back to Kaz.

LIAM & MILLIE: I like Millie. She is the one I most relate to. I can't play the piano either. I do think she was a bit quick with the forgiveness though. Liam is too young for her. His head will be turned far too easily. I think if they had happened to meet at some time in the future, they could have made a go of it.

TOBY & CHLOE: I like Toby - he's comes out with the daftest things and when he is sincere (like his friendship with Millie and to the boys), it is lovely to see. He comes across as naive in some situations but he still did the dirt on 4 of the girls in there. He only wanted to get back with Chloe as she was the only one who didn't pine after him. I can't take to Chloe. I think she can be very witty and funny but she is very aware that she is playing a game.

I think if Toby had stayed with Kaz, they would have won it already.
As it is, I'm going to say Toby and Chloe.

Now, I'm off to get a spice bag and wash it down with a Fat Frog.
