In a way, I think she had no choice really. She had to save her face. For the first weeks it was easier to mask any doubts, but when everyone in the villa started to see his true colours and the public had confirmed it all, Liberty couldn't carry on. Plus Jake couldn't hide his feelings either. I think she would have carried on otherwise, like a martyr 🙄

She was talking about her own confidence in a roundabout way, hoping he would cop it and then turn around and say you look really fit too. He didn't cop at all and when he said it's always about you it was confusing for her. If she had of said do I look fir, he would have just said, well your my girlfriend. I'm probably overthinking this, but I feel like she was lining up the opportunity for him to say what she wanted to hear and he didn't.

I think Jake was taken abck when she asked him if he wasn't feeling confident, because I think it's quite obvious that even if Jake wasn't there would be no way he would admit to it, especially to a woman, and on a tv show. I wonder if she was hoping he would react and then she would have more of a reason to end things with him, but he didn't really say anything either way.

I was surprised to see the fake narrative they portrayed and it really hit home how warped these influencers are 😳

Find that hard to believe. They seem genuine and she said she was going up to America to watch him box. And tbf he doesn't gain anything being with her, don't ever see them doing any couple promos.

Some one above said something true for me about Faye - it is the lack of any kind of comeuppance for her that is so frustrating. Her behaviour at times has been appalling. And has been brushed under the carpet. No other islanders mention it which is hard to believe. And she only does in a sort of self deprecating way as if it was funny whilst pulling faces - 'I've had my moments {{{eye roll, pull silly face}}} but I'm learning. I reacted like that because I was scared {{{silly face, flick hair}}}. You've broken down my barriers Teddy'. As if she was so deep and complicated rather than an ill mannered brat.
And 100% production are enabling this to play down the shitstorm of 30k complaints. With her being on all the bloody time and being the voice of reason and loved up 🤢

100% - and let’s not forget that the producers MADE her apologise to Teddy (4 days later) or she would be booted from the villa. There are no consequences for her now that she's made it to the final. She won't give a tit about what anyone says, it will just be “haters” and “trolls”, I bet you anything she’ll be proud of her almost 25k Ofcom complaints too.

I’m so disappointed that this is the way it went, it’s absolutely sending the wrong message to younger viewers.

Yes agree. Or risk single people possibly winning. Highly unlikely but you never know. Interesting to see if one of them would have kept the money 🤑

I have a horrible feeling that she'd be proud to hold the LI record for complaints. Or at least she'll act as if she's proud, making it part of her "not bothered" public persona. She'll say all the people who complained are just trolls and haters, and she'll go on about how she's not letting them get her down. That penny won't drop until the people around her stop enabling her.
 
The only way the producers could ever walk this back is if faye didn’t make the final but that obviously won’t happen. The final interview will be giggling about her temples while she laughs obnoxiously and says how she tells it like it is.

I am honestly so confused. Far from comeuppance, the producers rewarded Faye with yet another redemption arc by arranging for her to be Liberty’s confidente and shoulder to cry on. This should have been Kaz - they were genuine friends from the getgo. Really grinds my gears that they wouldn’t give Kaz the screentime and conveniently sent her on a date. Especially considering that Faye clearly told Lib she wouldn’t be her friend after the compatibility vote. Portraying Faye as the straight talking, loyal friend instead.
