They have played an absolute blinder here. They knew they weren’t going to win so they have overshadowed all the other couples final dates and made sure all eyes are on them. Then leaving a few days before the final ensures they get all the interviews on mainstream tv in the last boring days of the show that no one cares about before the winner is announced.

Can’t argue with that.
In BB when you were evicted on Friday night you had a whole week out there to sell yourself, far better than coming 3rd, 4th or 5th on finals night when you got about 10 minutes, 5 if it was Rylan interviewing.
I do love karma though, waited and waited for Charley to get evicted and when it finally happened Channelle chose to walk a couple of days later and all eyes were on her.
Charley stuck with saying “she took my week” over and over😀

But preview it first, they seem to have two kinds of spoiler (spoiler itself and in-line spoiler) have no idea what the difference is🤔
 
I hope this is a lesson to any future islanders who think coasting along in a fake showmance is the way to go. The public can see through it. As we have seen this series, the public warm more towards a relationship that has flaws and shows it’s ups and downs. Not fake manufactured perfection with the intention of having the final sewn up.
 
Why am I getting the feeling that maybe Liberty wasn’t as clueless as she made herself out to be. The little smirk we seen on the preview is quite telling. She knows they had no chance of winning and the public didn’t see them as a legit couple so it’s a good way of hedging her bets so to speak and coming out looking like the bigger person.

I kinda get what you’re saying but kudos to her in that she’s really had to graft for it, cuddling up to and sleeping next to Jake for 7 weeks. BAFTA nominated performance 😉

For me it’s the repetitive statements she keeps churning out - I have to stay true to myself, I’ve learned to love myself, I’ve learned to stick up for myself - she’s always telling and not showing what her angle is and how she wants public to see her. She might have been more into Jake then he was her but she was happy to play the game with him when she thought they could win. Now she’s sold him out as being awful so she can play the innocent victim who was led astray.

It’s possible they got back together and decided the best thing for their relationship was to leave the villa. I mean at this point they know they’re not gonna win it and they’ve both had a tit time in there recently so why not?

I can see it now, Fiery Faye and Loveless Liberty on Loose Women together.
Hopefully it will be a day when Janet Street Porter is on the panel and she tells them both to get real😉

I don’t think either Jake or Liberty has done anything malicious. I think this is a real representation of people who settle because it’s comfortable and easy. This happens all the time in real life, where you get with someone you get on with but you don’t have that actual spark.

I think Liberty really wanted there to be a spark and that’s why she said I love you so early on, and I think Jake did too. I think he did have a game plan of sorts, but I reckon they all do/did.

you do know that he cheats on her regularly? 😅 and most of the ‘romantic gestures’ are set up by their PR company. My friend supplied one of the set ups and said their PR company set it up for them and it was a surprise to both Tommy and Molly but when they posted it on social media, they made it out like it was from Tommy to Molly. 😅 I found it hilarious as I knew about the set up before either Tommy or Molly and was looking forward to it being posted. I was surprised to see the fake narrative they portrayed and it really hit home how warped these influencers are 😳

To be honest im kind of glad they’re defending it a bit. My Pod on Paper has been a nightmare this season with duty of care being mentioned every two minutes but only for islanders orlaith loves (Faye).

every Irish media personalityI follow is posting deep and meaningful posts about gaslighting now etc 🙄
