With the way Liberty kept throwing around staying true to herself and how she won’t change etc I think she very much has a new game plan of leaving as the strong woman who won’t be treated for less then she’s worth. Thats her new angle and don’t think there’s room for Jake in that. I don’t think she’s as genuine and thick as so many people think she is. She’s been trying to define herself as a memorable Love Island character since the get go ie the Dani, the girlfriend, the wronged woman. This is her last chance to do that.

Faye's pep talk to Liberty!!
I hate Jake ... when last week she was telling Teddy she loved him although thought he was a showman.
That Liberty should not be treated the way Jake treats her.
That Liberty should not be spoken to the way Jake speaks to her.
That if Jake cared about her he wouldn't do any of this , as people who care about you don't do this.

I’m sure Molly-Mae was a social media influencer before Love Island which probably helped her post-show career.
She already had 100K+ Instagram followers before the show which is appealing to brands in itself.

this is what’s driving me mad. What’s more frustrating is the Jake defender it’s turned me into
. I just can’t get behind itv protecting Faye all the way to the final while selling Jake down the river as a gaslighter and abuser. That’s what lib is implying here - that’s what’s all over social media.While we can argue both sides we can agree that we haven’t seen everything. It’s clearly been heavily edited for everyone at times and I find it so frustrating that ITv has basically destroyed the show with Faye and are now manipulating us into thinking she’s grand by her giving her all the screen time during every episode yet Jake is basically going out to being called an abuser.

I was prepared to feel a little bit bad for Jake last night but why was he such a dick?
First the ‘you’re giving me the ick’ comment, which tbf on its own I can see how he sees that as a joke or how it would be taken as banter if it was just a stand alone thing, but then in the kitchen, they were singing how do you like your eggs in the morning and she said with a kiss and then he said I like my with a kiss too and then said ‘that was a hint you idiot’ .. well he could of gone and kissed her?, also sometimes it’s not what he says but how he says he, he has an aggressive tone. Then he said ‘I should teach you how to sing’ .. wtf? Another put down basically saying she’s tit at singing lol. Then when they were taking photos, firstly he said ‘why is it always me taking them?’ Then he said oh I look awful in these and she said no you don’t they’re nice, and then he goes ‘it’s all about you isn’t it, you you you’ .. erm Jake.. you didn’t once say lib looked nice, you were just looking at yourself? You could tell Liberty was thinking wtf. Then when she had the conversation with her, he didn’t fight for her even a little bit! It was only a couple days ago he said he loved her!!!
if Liberty hadn’t got upset and they hadn’t broken up, the producers wouldn’t of bothered showing us all those little things, so it makes you wonder how much it happens, how often he talks to her like that (and explains why the islanders don’t think he really likes her).
it’s also made me think.. maybe it’s wasn’t Jake and Liberty trying to make themselves out to be this day 1 power couple who are gonna sail to the end, maybe it was the producers trying to make them into that, then when they realised the public aren’t that fond of Jake, they decided to just show a bit more of reality. I think this especially because last night a lot of that seemed to come out of no where from a viewers perspective

I think Liberty is beautiful. I don’t think she’ll be as successful as Molly but I don’t think any of them will be. Molly Mae is a rare success of that level. She had a following before going in and it grew and grew in there and afterward. She just seems to have “it” and none of the other islanders bar maybe Maura have done as well as her.
I’ve no idea what “it” is btw I just think even though not everyone liked her in that series shenever seemed to lose followers etc. People Still wanted to see what she was wearing etc.

Yep and totally ironic in that she doesn’t even realise this.
They’re really pushing her to the win these last few days, can you imagine if that happened, she’ll expect a ticker-tape parade through the streets of town accompanied by a brass band playing the theme from Thunderbirds.

Oh definitely I know people were calling her fake on the show but her Instagram seems to be a true reflection of herself. Her relationship with Tommy is adorable but she’s not trying to convince us she’s got a regular life like other influencers do, she owns her influencer status. She also stands out because she has great hair and sense of style.
