I genuinely agree about the screentime. I really feel strongly that Tyler and Kaz have not shared decent screentime unless it shown in an argumentative scenario. It’s brutally unfair as Kaz is a very articulate, intelligent and loyal person on this show.
And it seems a lot of ex Islanders see Tyler and Kaz are a good couple but you never see that eg what Brett said

I think the closer it’s getting to the end Liberty is getting anxious about what she is going to find out/see… she knows in her gut that it’s not right so I think she’s gona try and cut her losses now to stop her looking like a mug when she gets out. Either that or they will have this row, break up, Jake will land back with a Daisy or some shite and they’ll get back together and be all OTT running up to the final

At this point I don’t think Jake can do anything to salvage things. All declarations have been used up and even if not the girls would be in her ear about not believing him.

I wish she could have chatted to kaz or Chloe though - the fact that it was Faye seems more calculated. Like she doesn’t want to go down with Jake so is hoping going to Faye will get her back in her good books as I think they all believe since she hasn’t been turfed yet despite all her shite that she must be beloved.

If Faye had no involvement I’d be happy to see lib set off into the sunset sans Jake. The fact that Faye is involved, has picked on Jake and the relationship with pure venom the last few days just cuts out any satisfaction to this ending.

God, I feel bad for Liberty. She’s obviously insecure in somethings about herself and all she wants is for her boyfriend to tell her and show her she’s beautiful. I’d have so much respect for her if she ended it as it would send a brilliant message to young girls that if you are in a relationship that does not make you feel 100% confident and worthy then you have every right to walk.

Given the discussion about Faye's behaviour, I'd be interested to know how people view Jess in series 1. She behaved appallingly threatening to punch Josh in the face, smashing things and screaming. All the way through her time in the villa, Caroline was a supporter of hers and looking back at what we know about her emorional wellbeing and relationships, I wonder if she saw herself in Jess and related to her. It was uncomfortable to watch at times for that reason as well as her never being held to account.
I find this quite interesting because I see this from the other point of view - I've seen S1 a few times and I think Josh was vile to Jess, as were most of the other boys in the villa. Jess didn't behave well sometimes but she was really pushed to the limit on several occasions and people were going out of their way to wind her up. Other people were behaving just as badly, the way that Josh and Luis in particular spoke to and about Jess was appalling.

The other big difference between Jess and Faye is that Jess was giving it out to people who gave as good as they got whereas Faye is giving it out to people who clearly don't want any part in an aggy drama. That's also the difference with shows like Geordie Shore and Ex on the Beach - there are loads of Faye's in those shows but they are there with other Faye's who are happy to fight back.

All this talk that Faye is a deeply damaged person who has suffered some kind of trauma is just assumption - no one who is watching her on TV knows why she acts the way she does. She may well have past trauma but equally she might just be a gobby, spoiled bitch who likes to get her own way. That first look clip shows how two faced she is - quite comfy being an arse to Lib last night but the first to run after her when she's upset. Why would Liberty want to talk to her after Faye declared they are 'not friends'. If Faye had the courage of her convictions she would have gone off and found Kaz and told her Liberty was upset so Kaz could go and comfort her. But no, Faye follows her like a rat up a drainpipe, probably because she can't have anyone else getting too much attention and she has to stick her nose in everyone else's business.

If Liberty has any sense she'll tell Jake and Faye to fuck off and get herself on a plane home to her family and friends before the final.

How nice did kaz look on her date!!!!

Not defending faye what so ever but she said it wasn’t on her side. She was actually saying she felt like they were not her friends even tho she was their friend. I do think faye is a girls girl and if lib has run past her crying she would naturally see if she is ok.

I see the Jess situation from your side too, she was treated appallingly by Luis in particular. There was one episode where he was extremely aggressive towards her and I’m convinced if that had happened now he would have been removed from the villa. Naomi was also pretty awful to her.

Jess definitely lashed out but quite often she was provoked. She went through a lot in the villa and at some points I did find her unlikable but by the end of that series she was the one I wanted to win and she’s still one of my favourite ever contestants.

Oh and to add I can’t stand Faye, there is absolutely no comparison to Jess. Faye is the worst contestant I’ve ever seen on love island and she has single handedly ruined this series.

I think the producers schedule most of the conversations we end up seeing on TV.

I'm actually looking forward to tonight's episode..I've me stash of fanny biscuits in and will eat the lot with a bucket of tea!

Why does everyone have to hag Faye off for comforting a friend? Even if she was off with her yesterday she wouldn’t want to see a friend upset and would automatically go and comfort her.
I agree how Faye kicked off at Teddy was unacceptable and I’m not even a fan of hers but it’s like everyone is nit picking at everything she does now.
Because she's being two faced - yesterday she told Liberty they aren't friends because she's so deeply hurt by Liberty's behaviour. She should have gone and got Kaz and let her sort it out. She's just there because she's nosy and wants camera time.

I agree with this. We see one hour a day and the producers pick what we see. They will obviously only pick the most entertaining bits or the bits they want to show us to make us think a certain way.
It’ll be interesting to see what the islanders themselves say about Faye when they come out as I very much doubt she’s the horrorbag that everyone is making her out to be.
We have seen her support her friends and I’m guessing she’s done this a lot more than what we’ve seen, given she referred to this the other night.
