Donā€™t trust him at all. In my opinion he and kaz are only still there as theyā€™ve had zero airtime in the last week.

No she looked devastated . That looked like real genuine crying . Like the penny has dropped . I think it has been edited carefully though I dont think she is crying to Jake like it seems . I think sheā€™s sitting with one of the girls. Theyā€™ve edited it to make it look like Jake is with her . My bet is itā€™s the Tweet challenge he or the families are there and things are finally adding up !

with all due respect, thatā€™s your experience. Not all mean people will have experienced trauma. Obviously I do not know Faye personally, so I do not know what she has experienced BUT it is completely irresponsible of ITV/love island to glamourise this behaviour. Most people will not look at how she is behaving as a ā€˜trauma responseā€™, most look at it through a ā€˜she says it how it isā€™ lens. It makes it look like this behaviour is okay when it is not, trauma or no trauma.
 
Can I just ask- what else can Kaz do to get support. I see a lot of people say in this thread that Tyler isn't into Kaz- why wouldn't he be?
I just feel for her because with the way everyone is speaking it is like many don't see Kaz attractive enough to field anyone's attention.
She has had little screentime, except when she is fighting so we never see them play out.
A few men crumbled at casa amour but it seems people use it against tyler the most?
It does seem that unless KAz plays bestfriend and side chick, she would never be in the good graces of the public and that is sad- she also deserves love but everyone keeps doubting any guy around her.
I hope she has a great support system outside because its like she is being told in a roundabout way- you are too ugly for us to believe that someone is into you

Again, its not and shouldnt be used as an excuse. Faye has given enough info to reasonably believe it is a trauma response ('brutal' family, her mega insecurity and where it stems from etc). That doesnt make it ok, but it provides background. She is so ruled by her emotions, she clearly hasnt learnt or been shown how to regulate her emotions.

People generally wouldnt ask Why? Why someone acts how they do, or why they do the things they do. You take it at face value. Theres a bigger conversation there about that connecting with mental health stigma in the UK. It doesnt excuse any of it, but its background. I find the links of behaviour and MH interesting, how brains are literally shaped by trauma or how brain injury changes behaviour etc. So thats just me being an egghead šŸ˜‚

I agree though, glamourising it for entertaiment is simply failing in their duty of care to everyone in there. And for a show thats had sucide related deaths, its really dodgy ground for them to carry on with it.

At the start I didn't think he was into her because whenever he said nice things to her he never looked into her eyes.
Then Casa happened and that confirmed it for me BUT I think since they have gotten back together they really work as a couple!! He's clearly into her now from what I can see and I thought him asking her to be exclusive was very cute and genuine.
I think he might not have started with the best of intentions but he is definitely into her now, and why wouldn't he be!? She's a stunner and bar the whole thing with Matt she's been a decent person, a good friend and can stand up for herself without losing the plot ā¤ā¤ I really hope they make it into the final.

That's nice and i understand the doubts but for me its interesting people see this but can't see how faye pulls away when teddy kisses her. It is like i am not watching the same show as other.
Those fb aunties also have it out for which i think is odd because she hardly gets screentime

I genuinely agree about the screentime. I really feel strongly that Tyler and Kaz have not shared decent screentime unless it shown in an argumentative scenario. Itā€™s brutally unfair as Kaz is a very articulate, intelligent and loyal person on this show.

I like to think a lot more people notice that than you'd think ā¤ā¤
I can't speak for those people who have it out for Kaz because I simply don't understand it, just like I don't understand the people who support Faye, it's lost on me šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø I'm just hoping they are in the minority but happen to be the loudest!

Same. I donā€™t understand Faye voters either. I get the hotheadedness - I get the losing it and the drama. I get that she canā€™t stop herself and has no filter. There are people who cannot take a moment, internalise - they need to immediately poison the atmosphere rather than themselves.

The thing I cannot endure is the complete lack of remorse afterward.

Absolutely ! Remind me very much of Samira (absolutely stunning!!!!) leaving to be with that creep Frankie who was obviously just using her !!!! He dumped her very shortly after.
And when Greg (who I do like) came in promising Amber the world, I thought ā€˜nope, typical Irish charmer heā€™s gonna leave her high and dryā€™. I get the same vibes off Tyler but I think heā€™s the worse actor of the 3 x
 
Re. Kaz, I think sheā€™s absolutely stunning and I love how she stands up for her friends and herself, but I find the constant screaming really grating and (like lots of the other girls) she can be really immature.

I also donā€™t see much intimacy between her and Tyler, not just sex, but I havenā€™t seen any of the loving looks you see between Millie and Liam, and even Mary and Aaron to an extent.

I think Tyler is fake, knew Kaz was popular with the public and saw her as an easy ride to the final. I think she can do better.
 
Given the discussion about Faye's behaviour, I'd be interested to know how people view Jess in series 1. She behaved appallingly threatening to punch Josh in the face, smashing things and screaming. All the way through her time in the villa, Caroline was a supporter of hers and looking back at what we know about her emorional wellbeing and relationships, I wonder if she saw herself in Jess and related to her. It was uncomfortable to watch at times for that reason as well as her never being held to account.

Sad that you have BPD but donā€™t ever excuse red flag signs of Domestic Abuse. Mental health canā€™t be an excuse for being a bad person and as far as we know she doesnā€™t hAve any mental health issues.

Yeah, I think itā€™s a strong possibility. I was wondering if they edited the preview to show the part where she removes her mic first & then later chatting and crying to Jake so that it looks like she just removed it then stayed anyway, but if in reality the mic removal thing happened after the drama and she actually walked? Because obviously they wouldnā€™t give that away in the preview

ETA: I think this because she would have nothing to stay the extra few days for if they broke up, so she will probably realise itā€™s time to leave! Iā€™d actually be surprised if she stayed
