with all due respect, that’s your experience. Not all mean people will have experienced trauma. Obviously I do not know Faye personally, so I do not know what she has experienced BUT it is completely irresponsible of ITV/love island to glamourise this behaviour. Most people will not look at how she is behaving as a ‘trauma response’, most look at it through a ‘she says it how it is’ lens. It makes it look like this behaviour is okay when it is not, trauma or no trauma.

Agree - ITV are wrong here. Young girls watch this and this just gives the impression that behaving like that is acceptable. Trauma or not, screaming at people, passively aggressively dominating people and generally making people feel uncomfortable should not be accepted.

If she had that much trauma previously she should never have gotten through the checks - it is not doing her any favours.

Re. Kaz, I think she’s absolutely stunning and I love how she stands up for her friends and herself, but I find the constant screaming really grating and (like lots of the other girls) she can be really immature.

I also don’t see much intimacy between her and Tyler, not just sex, but I haven’t seen any of the loving looks you see between Millie and Liam, and even Mary and Aaron to an extent.

I think Tyler is fake, knew Kaz was popular with the public and saw her as an easy ride to the final. I think she can do better.

Who in the island do you think had the most 'sexual' compatibility with Kaz, because no one seems to have a person to compare tyler too. I also think they haven't been shown enough as priya and brett said they are very much together like- it is not shown on the screen.

I’d love if this were true, but that episode where Teddy asked “whose ass was clapping last night” (lmao) it seemed it was probably those two. Liam and Millie said they don’t like to make any noise (Liam being the embarrassed one), Toby said if it had been him and Chloe he’d be going around admitting it lmao, and the only people who didn’t confirm or deny anything were Jake and Lib so I think they’ve definitely done it.

Given the discussion about Faye's behaviour, I'd be interested to know how people view Jess in series 1. She behaved appallingly threatening to punch Josh in the face, smashing things and screaming. All the way through her time in the villa, Caroline was a supporter of hers and looking back at what we know about her emorional wellbeing and relationships, I wonder if she saw herself in Jess and related to her. It was uncomfortable to watch at times for that reason as well as her never being held to account.

I didnt watch series 1 but that sounds awful! How did they manage to avoid backlash from that?

My predictions for the outside world:

Kaz & Tyler = break up within 3 weeks. Tyler seems like a snake. But I don’t like Kaz either. They just won’t work.

Liam & Millie = stay together for a few years but he’ll probably be unfaithful during it. I can actually see them getting engaged someday, but maybe not married lol. They could even have a baby but again, I don’t think they’ll last forever.

Faye & Teddy = surprisingly I think they’ll stay together about 4-6 months but only because she’s controlling as hell and probably won’t let him leave if he wants to.

Mary & Aaron = said this a few posts ago, I can actually see them working on the outside, I think they’ll still be together for a few months at least. Maybe not a longterm couple, hard to tell, but they seem genuinely into each other to see where it goes at least.

Jake & Liberty = If they even last the next few days (which they probably won’t judging by tonight’s preview) I think they’ll break up within a month or two. I really feel for Liberty.

Chloe & Toby = stay together maybe up to a year, who knows maybe more, but they don’t seem like a ‘serious’ couple to me. Like clearly they love each other’s company and having sex, but I don’t know if there’s anything beneath all that, so of course that’ll fade. Even if they last, I don’t think they’ll “settle down” they’re just involved with each other for the lols really IMO

All in all, no really memorable couples from this year actually, no memorable islanders as individuals at all (at least not in a positive way).

Wish we had a Siânnise and Luke type couple this year. They’re the best ever.

I have nothing but respect for people who have MH problems or past trauma who have the strength to recognise their poor behaviour, no matter how ‘understandable’ the source of it may be, and sort themselves out. Faye is not one of those people. And I don’t know why anyone who has taken steps to remedy similar behaviour in themselves would be voting for her. She’s made comments that she thinks the public like her which is clearly egging her on, but actually the way the votes have gone it seems like she’s there by default because there’s always been a new couple nobody cares about losing out in the vote. She’s going to get a shock when she comes out and it won’t be pleasant.

I think Kaz is beautiful and I don’t think anybody is saying that Tyler doesn’t find her attractive, I think people are more concerned for her about his intentions after his behaviour in casa amor the exact same way people would be concerned for Millie after liams behaviour, both of those lads intentions are questionable. I definitely think Tyler finds kaz to be very attractive but I really hope that Tyler is being real in his emotions and intentions as I think they look good together and seem happy but you just never know the same way you can’t trust Liam after what he did!

Can I just ask- what else can Kaz do to get support. I see a lot of people say in this thread that Tyler isn't into Kaz- why wouldn't he be?
I just feel for her because with the way everyone is speaking it is like many don't see Kaz attractive enough to field anyone's attention.
She has had little screentime, except when she is fighting so we never see them play out.
A few men crumbled at casa amour but it seems people use it against tyler the most?
It does seem that unless KAz plays bestfriend and side chick, she would never be in the good graces of the public and that is sad- she also deserves love but everyone keeps doubting any guy around her.
I hope she has a great support system outside because its like she is being told in a roundabout way- you are too ugly for us to believe that someone is into you

Completely agree. She has moments of clarity but shes just blagged her way through life with her behaviour. This will (should) be a wake up call for her and those around her.
