I never thought I would see the day I would be complaining to Ofcom from the ROI...Makes me sad

I agree. We moan when it’s boring. Then moan when there drama. Do we want a show orrrrLast nights show was defo uncomfortable viewing but IMO not enough to complain to Ofcom, this is why the bits of the show that create drama get pulled.
Yeah the girls looked like they learned that they couldn't say anything to her. Millie did tell her that Teddy had nothing to tell her and I do think Chloe tried to diffuse the situation but noped out of it when Faye turned to her!!Let’s face it - there was no talking to her whatsoever. Completely pointless to try to reason with someone clearly fired up and needing to vent/explode. I feel a bit for her this morning. The boys will ignore her completely and rightfully so - she is starting to ruin the experience for them. The girls will protect her to some degree and she really needs them now but essentially she is a very unpopular faye the day after the night before.
Horrible for her, deserved or not. Whether she is plain nasty, or hormonal or someone who needs to avoid alcohol completely, today will be pretty miserable.
Her facial expressions
watching teddy get so upset was also uncomfortable to watch no one standing up to her crappy behaviour either. All in all it was just uncomfortable. At this point I don’t even have a fav couple possibly Chloe and Toby.
Im not even there and I feel intimidated by her
Someone should have taken the alcohol away from her at least
Yeah I agree tbh .. also.. some of the arguments Megan McKenna has had on TV.. Jesus ChristI don't consider raising your voice aggressive per se. Getting annoyed and shouting is a normal human reaction. I never trust those people who claim never to shout or raise their voices. Or swear for that matter.
That said:
Did she go a bit too far? Yes, I'm not disagreeing with that (although some emotion other than passivity in the girls in there made a change).
However
Has there been far worse shown on TV all the time? Also yes. This was pretty mild compared to stuff like Geordie Shore tbh.
Toby was too cute last night, he was there for both Jake and Teddy. Running after them, giving hugs and giving solid advice too. He has really grown in there ❤In all of this just wanted to say how much I’ve reversed my opinions on the boys over the last couple of days. Sure they’ve behaved like a bunch of immature twats from time to time but when push came to shove last night solid support for each other [lacking in the girls but there could be reasons we don’t know about besides not wanting to get involved].
And Toby, taking care of Teddie ….
I saw the adverts for this.. but I don’t get the concept of the show at all.. do they have to get with people when they’re in relationships?Have any of you seen the ads for the new show Katherine Ryan is presenting? It looks so much better than Love Island. 1 girl, 10 guys, half are in relationships and need to convince them she’s single. Their girlfriends are in on it. I wonder if it might replace Love Island?
The more I think about it, while her behaviour was horrendous, they shouldn’t have shown it. They should have removed her, said she’s been removed because her behaviour wasn’t acceptable, and left it there. They’ve hung her out to dry for drama.Hey, just wanted to say I was the same last night. I just couldn't sleep, no amount of meditation and lavander oil was going to help me . I honestly don't think it should have been aired or at least come with a trigger warning.
She should have been removed from the villa end of. The same with Danny and his use of a racial slur. Just remove them straight away because otherwise:
1. You're publicly condoning truly awful behaviour which is very hard for victims to see. Abuse is still abuse "even" when it's a woman.
2. You're putting the individuals themselves at risk. They will 100% get death threats. Faye’s true self has been exposed for all to see and she will not be able to handle that. She's a tit person but equally she does not deserve to be abused and the show and producers have opened her up massively to that. Which is so irresponsible.
