Alex Bowen said the other day every contestant knows what love island is about (especially with how big it has become now) you don’t go on a show that is about getting involved with multiple people and being tested and then complain that test is messing with your mental health. It’s just like real life we date guys, some are crap, some make us cry; some make us feel like we’re on cloud 9, only difference is in there is more intensified and when they come out it’s usually to a million followers and endorsements and Collabs. If you want to watch reality tv and relationship up and downs why complain to ofcom? The whole premise of the show is to put people in testing situations and if they’re serious they’ll overcome it…

Yeah it’s sad seeing people emotional and all but Millie could be crying in a room after a girl DM’s her that her bf cheated on her, only difference is it wouldn’t be on tv. Do you get my point? Hope I’m articulating this well. I just think at this point anyone that goes on LI knows people are constantly coming in, men are fickle and the situation changes very quickly not saying they’re not entitled to their feelings but all the Karen’s complaining about that fact whilst also enjoying the drama to me makes nooo sense.

The difference is, in real life the situation would be organic. This is anything but. We know it’s scripted and edited etc etc. However, what they’re doing here is deliberately feeding a person one side of a story that will cause them distress. It is DESIGNED to evoke that reaction. Millie has already been upset and there’s no need to make things even worse for her.
Contestants sign up to the show knowing they are going to be put in certain situations with different people. They will likely be mentally prepared for rejection etc. What they DONT sign up for, is to have their emotions intentionally played with by the producers in the name of entertainment.

Now you can call me ‘Karen’ til the cows come home, but this isn’t entertainment. It’s not ‘enjoyable drama’, it’s uncomfortable to watch, it’s cruel and it will provoke the type of negative reaction from people towards Lillie that results in trolling and death threats. As much as I don’t like the girl, bringing her back like this is just going to make her even more of a villain.

Well said (apart from using Karens lol) I have read that a lot of applicants were rejected based on their assessments showing a lack of resilience. I think its good to see and identify bad behaviour and to see the "right" way to handle it. I also think Friday's show would have been dull and a turn off if they all had just recoupled. I think this complaining to Ofcom and even worse going on twitter to announce you've done so is harmful - people rang cos Hugo wasnt chosen ffs.

On another note I don't think Kaz put a foot wrong on Friday, she knew on some level he was a player and therefore believed the postcard whereas Millie didn't. It wasn't rude of her to react to his return. I do think Matt likes her and she seems far more relaxed with him, I think its cos she senses it too,

What Liam did was utterly tit but Lille has her own agenda too, and this is just bleeping with Millie's emotions.

I agree Lillie grafted hard and complained several times he wasn’t touching her enough at night etc. There’s two sides to every story and I hope Millie listens to Lillie and Liam and the other boys. Liam shouldn’t have done it and it was totally tit behaviour from him but to blindly believe what Lillie says would be foolish.

They did it with Amber/Joanna and Dani/Ellie, only difference is that they were both brought back to the villa whereas Lillie wasn’t.

He said that several times in CA when they were sat outside... said he'd been wanting to all day and something on the lines of that was all he'd been thinking about !! Then Lillie agreed she felt the same... Liam is a lying twit he encouraged her big time.... and that was only what they showed us, plenty more we didnt see no doubt.

No chance in hell he wins now and if she was smart/PR savvy she’d be 100% done with him I don’t even know why she’s entertaining conversations with him, that’s just who he is and he’ll do it on the outside.

Tyler owed her nothing.. the bottom line is he came in the villa was attracted to her , coupled up , went to CA , found a more attractive female who he connected with, coupled up .... end of story !! In Series 2 they brought Malin back to confront Terry. Malin had been eliminated by the public because production had been busy showing several scenes of Malin passing on information to others which had been confided to her in confidence. She was always gonna go after that, no one likes sneaks.
Terry made noises about leaving with her (Malin) but never did. He made promises to Malin he would just continue to enjoy his time as an islander and would reunite with her after the show. It took just a couple of days for him to pair up with a new bombshell but there was no way he was getting away with it, they were filmed having sex and it was shown.
At the showdown Terry knew he hadn’t got a leg to stand on, he didn’t even try to defend himself, after a couple of minutes he walked off sulking and muttering.

Yeah completely agree. As much as i stand by don't blame the other girl if I was in millies position I would feel tit going to meet her. Like I've said many times before Lillie would still be with Liam now if he picked her then she wouldn't be slating him. She's only bothered about what he's done to her and not what he's done to millie

I totally agree with this.
Not going to lie, bringing this girl back to rub Millie’s nose in it on national tv is just awful - if ever there was a need for a complaint to Ofcom, this is it.
It wouldn’t be so bad if Lillie wasn’t a desperate, vindictive, bitter, nasty piece of work but she’s going to paint the worst possible picture that she can.
I really feel for Millie here, but also Liam. How he behaved was wrong, he shouldn’t ever have gone anywhere near the girl. However, they’re just toying with both their emotions now in the name of entertainment. This is a show that should really be taking extra care considering it’s past history.
Really doesn’t sit right with me.

Lillie isn’t trying to hurt Millie, she’s telling her side of the story as asked by the producers. I’d personally prefer to know what the guy I essentially thought was my boyfriend, was up too. If Millie hadn’t wanted too I’m sure she would have said to a producer that she really didn’t want to. They wouldn’t have forced her.

At the end of the day, from her POV it’s much better to hear it from Lillie now then to trust Liams story alone and then get home and rewatch it and see how he actually was.

Idk about that. Amber was pretty disliked by the public and her and Kem still went on to win. Maura and Curtis also made it to the final despite Curtis being extremely disliked after the Amy situation. Social media seems to be pretty wishy washy atm, there’s people who want them to work it out and others want her to find someone else. At the end of the day people will probably vote for Millie regardless of who she ends up with.

Exactly! None of the other boys are going to tell her what happened are they! Hugo seems to have lost his moral compass as he didn’t seem to see anything wrong with how the boys were behaving in casa amor. He even made a joke about how Liam had to check 3 times about Liam kissing Lillie.

I think Hugo’s joke was sarcastic. Although I doubt he will say anything after what happened last time, but he did seem the least comfortable with the situation.

None of them really seem to have a moral compass though… the way Liam didn’t tell Millie that it was Jake who egged him on makes you know that Liam knows Jake was a massive bellend for what he did.

All the men in this series are trash (apart from Teddy).
