zanab really sees cole's comments about her through a lens of insecurity... the moment she got compared to colleen, it went downhill from there... I saw someone else on twitter bring up how they had a partner who compared them and talked about their appearance a lot.. so anytime comments were made about their appearance or food it would trigger them even if the comments weren't implied to be rude...think that's what happened with Zaneb.

Oh sorry, I didn’t see the part where she said “he called me fat and told me to stop eating” - was that in the reunion show? I’ll rewatch.

Totally agree that women can gaslight too. I’m just not as convinced as you that he was totally innocent in her coming to the conclusion she was not the right shape for him and he felt she needed to lose weight.
 
That reunion was a hard watch. And since the season was filmed so long ago, I wonder how Cole had felt waiting for this to come out knowing how Zanab was trying to portray him.
I had actually been slightly on Zanab’s side watching all along because I thought she had just recognised they were incompatible but was seeing out the show because obviously that’s what the show wants them to do before finally telling him they were just too different. He does say dumb things without thinking how they sound and that would get on my nerves too after a few weeks. But Z and the other women trying to portray the dumb things he said as intentionally malicious, that’s what I found really unfair. Like call him out fine and say dude you need to get a filter, but nothing he did warranted that level of attack
 
Two things I noticed in the wedding episode that I hadn’t bedore

is Nancy’s brother deaf? Does he have a cochlear implant? Is that what the white thing was above his ear?
Cole’s surname is Barnett

there was suggestion a while back that he was related to Barnett is S1. Was Barnett his first or surname?

They aren't related 🤣 I saw something on Insta I think saying they weren't related but, the surnames are exactly the same. Barnett's first name was Matt I believe. Tbh, they both look soo similar as well I would've believed they were related.
 
I think the reunion was filmed while the show was airing, so the public already had a feel for the contestants.

Alexa is a boring garden-variety bully, always ready and willing to pile on someone because she has nothing else going for her. Just look at her friends. Her dad is crazy and she gets a selfish streak from him. Brennan can only be a doormat around her.
 
About the fact that it was filmed the same time as S2... so, the divorces of S2 happened not too long ago, at the same time, around the 1 year mark after the weddings of S2 and we all thought that they get more money if they stick together a whole year... What does that make of S3? are they obliged to stay together for more than a year? is that why Matt and Colleen are living separately ? they are separated but can't get divorced?

What a mess.
