Darcy's reel popped up on my suggested stuff and she's very sweet but all the comments are from people who clearly follow her mum. It's a bit weird, it's a bit like your mums friends commenting for support but they are strangers!

Also from a strategy point of view surely it's messing up the algorithm? I'm not the target audience of this video, but because of her current follower base Instagram thinks I am! I don't get any other teen hauls suggested to me, because they're all followed by other teens!

I came to say the same thing. It’s weird that adult women are following and commenting on a 13 olds Instagram. There will be men watching her too. It came up in my suggested and I am a woman in my 40’s, I don’t even follow teenagers I know (I have a teen myself) let alone a strangers child. It’s totally inappropriate.
Louise knows all of this and yet still merrily pushes this whole thing instead of protecting her child. She may not shout or hit her children but actually abusive behaviour comes in many forms and I would include pushing your child to have a very public platform and encouraging strangers to follow them and interact with them is abuse.

Its terrifying. I remember watching a video a youtuber did going down a rabbit hole of men watching and saving childrens tiktoks and ig videos. Some of the comments grown adult men were leaving were terrifying and bone chilling. Men even make cut outs of these childrens faces and create their own *content*. Its horrifying and I will NEVER put my childrens faces online . You can watch many videos about it. Its not hard to get educated on the danger.

Not sure how many of you follow US family vlogging or the Franke abuse case but one of the children of one of the most popular family vloggers on YouTube (whose mother is now being charged with child abuse) is campaigning to have family vlogging banned. Her whole statement is very eloquent, well thought out and puts into words all the icky feelings we have but i thought these parts were most pertinent here and hope if Louise does read here, she takes thus information in.

I’ve just seen another clip of her talking about the abuse. I’m not sure if she was asked about that or if she volunteered the information. She likes to talk about how charitable she supposedly is though! Saint Louise!
Not wanting other children to suffer in the same way is admirable, but then plastering your own children all over social media so that people around the world think they know them is still problematic.
Hopefully Shari Franke’s book will be promoted in the UK and will shine a light on the likes of Louise and all of the other ‘family’ vloggers out there.

Those men don't even have to make effort now, AI is a horrid little thing that will make all public faces accessible for manipulation for all sort of nasty content. To not only allow but actively push your child to become an influencer in this day and age is beyond all logic and conscience, I don't know how Louise sleeps soundly at night.

I don't know if this is the teacher in me but Louise comes across rude showing Pearl's work and then going 'if you can read it' - like I've seen a LOT worse in terms of spelling and handwriting for her age!
I found it demeaning as well. Why would you publicly put down your kid's writing skills or any skills? Also, why it's always Pearl who's criticised.

After reading that Darcy now has a public account I had to go take a look. It’s scary just how much of a carbon copy she is of her mum - I don’t think it’s cute at all. I know she’s just a child, so I’m not getting at her, it’s Louise’s fault. No normal 13yr old would be comparing an outfit to Chanel, nor would they be describing a cream corduroy bag as ‘demure’ and ‘mindful’. I mean what bizarre descriptions.
