Coming next collectshun

Playing catch up, defo worth reporting 'giveaways' there was very much a Celine bag up for grabs when they were in Paris last. I nearly followed again but then I slapped myself at being so stupid!

I was sure Chanel limited the amount of the same items an account could buy to curb reselling. I might be wrong it's been a while since I bought anything Chanel but like all high end brands they have a purchase history per account. I just can't see them selling 4/5 of the same bag even between the pair of them.

Im sure these giveaways are totally fake.

I thought of this. She must be known by the one or two sale associates that usually receive her at Chanel and they most definitely would know that she hasn’t bought three of the same bag for her giveaway - no doubt they follow her instagram.

I don’t know 🤔 … she could have shopped in various boutiques, we know she’s bought in T5 and Paris, Easy enough to go into Bond Street, Sloane Street, Harrods & Selfridges… although that said assume they all work like Bond Street and they set you up with a customer account to pay, Nothing to stop her buying multiples though.

I do know that no one in the Dior boutiques has ever heard of her as she came up in conversation at an event & no-one had a clue who she was. They don’t really work with ‘influenzas’ they don’t need the advertising and certainly not that type of (down)market.

I am not sure the same bag is readily available in the same color and hardware in each of these shops on walk-in. But you are right, you can’t rule out that she has bought them in different locations. I know UK has its own system inaccessible for the rest of Europe (which is centralized) so I guess even a curious UK SA wouldn’t be able to see what she bought in Cambon.

As for Dior, on the contrary they do work massively with influencers but that is done by their PR and social media departments and not necessarily the in shop people, that attend to paying customers.

This story is odd. So why is she recycling the same picture for the third year?

The Trendy was extremely hard to get hold of for a long period so, as you say @Happie I’d be surprised if she’d got the exact same bag 3 years in a row … also, why would you choose the same one? Why not mix it up a bit each giveaway?

Let’s hope this forces her to actually give a bag away this year - won’t believe it unless I see stories from the winner with bag in hand!

Her ITS takeover was painful. Oof
Do tell … I missed it

Now she’s going on about the unboxing with the winner. Most definitely had been checking in on us 😛
I think she means she's going to open it all to show us the bag & all the packaging, before then packing it all up again to send it to the winner. Personally if I were to win a prize of any kind, I wouldn't want anyone else to have opened it at all. How do we know she's not just 'unboxing' a bag she already has herself? She's got enough of the carrier bags, and if she's like any other collector, she'll have kept all the packaging etc. We'd want to see the receipt, to prove it was newly bought, and then giving the winner an option to exchange it.

She’ll just re-use her footage filmed when she bought her trendy 🙄 She has stated that there will be a receipt to exchange if the winner wishes - I’ve not heard that said before, but of course doesn’t mean it’s true!!!

I really want to see the winner shared & then see stories/posts of it with them or I won’t believe it. As someone else said, easy to make that a condition, winner must have a public account and agree to sharing story/post about it etc

Interesting, she's indeed been 'giving away' the same bag for years, with the exact same picture. Makes me think something is going on.
The chanel replica's nowadays are extremely good, almost impossible to tell them apart if you buy in the higher replica segment. If she gifts the bag to someone that has never held a real chanel bag there's no way they will find out unless they get it officially authenticated.

What is Chanel’s exchange Policy? Surely not more than 30 days the last time they were in Paris was 4 weeks ago and can you return from one country to the next? If she said she was including the receipt as proof of purchase I might be inclined to believe there was a receipt but why say its for the winner to exchange if they want to. And why enter a competition for something you want to exchange anyway!!!!????

Oh I would totally enter a competition if I can win something that I can sell for a lot of money tbh haha. And most stores don't allow you to return an item in a different country than where it is bought. Also, highest tier replica's come with receipts as well.
