Christine said when she introduced her that they had enjoyed Mariella being on LW as a guest so was happy to see that she was doing her first stint as a panellist today. (or something similar).
 
I found Linda’s presence on LW today absolutely pointless (even more than usual). When she was prompted (given a chance to speak) she spouted the same drivel she has told countless times before.
When she was asked about should you always give a relationship a final go? She skirted around the issue again, claiming to be all about her kids and Grandkids and going on holidays. I wish she would just speak the truth like Coleen did when she split with Ray. What was interesting though was that Nadia suggested (in a roundabout way) that Linda’s husband had cheated 😳 not sure if she meant to but that’s how she made it sound.
Also another thing that really grates on me with Linda is how she says she wants to live to see her Grandkids get married. What if they don’t want to get F**king married 😡 I’d be so annoyed at her if I was her daughter, always spouting this rubbish about what she wants all the time. I’m glad her daughter puts her foot down sometimes and says no to Linda always wanting to go on holiday with them. Must be so suffocating for her and her family 😢
 
I also thought it was a bit strange (but kind of understandable with her current circumstances) when Ruth said she didn’t have any Grandchildren - yet! She obviously doesn’t see herself as a Step Grandmother now that she has split from Eamonn but Denise who is also a Step Grandmother is very proud of the fact she is. Don’t get me started on Coleen who is an actual Grandmother but never acknowledges this either in these type of conversations. I know they are entitled to keep some things private but when it’s public knowledge it feels a bit fake.
 
When they were showing the clip of Coleen’s two goats that she wanted names for, there was, what I presume, was a middle aged man walking behind them but his face was blurred out.

Was this her partner Michael who she’s been with on and off for 3 years. The same Michael she paraded around on the show the first time they got together but then they split up and then later quietly got back together a while ago but this time she kept the relationship more discreet?
 
Michael wasn’t comfortable with the OK spreads etc. if that is the case, that is actually quite refreshing. Remember that hideous man Linda Bellingham married. He was so game hungry. And ended up with most of her estate.

You can’t force a feeling. You get the sense she wasn’t overly involved with his family. She called his mum Mrs Holmes.
