Loose Women #5

I can imagine she told him not to do it. She is still employed by ITV. It would have made it awkward for her. And yet he did it anyway. And he ended up looking bitter. He wasn’t looking out for the young guy involved. He was looking to score points against ITV and PS and Martin Frizell. It made us all laugh, but it wasn’t the behaviour of a big time broadcaster as he likes to think of himself.

He has joined the ranks of Huw Edwards and Jeremy Vine and has over embraced social media. This is from 4 May, one of those shite cryptic attention seeking posts, presumably when they agreed to part. Plus airbrushed to duck. The one below that one makes him look in his 30s!

Indeed. This photo was taken a few days ago. The blonde woman? Rumoured to be his new girlfriend. I wonder what she is interested in? Getting the old boy back on his feet, she is in love (who wouldn’t be?) or the fact he still has some money in the bank?

They were all a bit excitable today, not letting Alexandra Burke finish an answer before talking over her to ask their next completely unrelated question. Maybe they were pushed for time but it seemed a bit rude and like they weren’t interested in hearing what she had to say, just in asking her the ‘correct’ number of questions

They prefer to be speaking themselves about themselves. It is to be hoped that the LWs have more in the way of listening skills in their personal lives.

In case you've ever wondered why Nadia Sawalha and Janet Street Porter never feature on the same Loose Women panel, Janet spells it out in her 1,000th episode where she explains how cliquey she found it when she joined the show. 👏

"I'm not comfortable working with people who make me feel uncomfortable. So, that's the beginning and the end of it, so you don't see me working with them. Ha Ha Ha. No names, obviously." 😲

I did wonder who she meant when she said “you don’t see me working with them”. I’ve never noticed she’s never on with Nadia but now that you mention it she never is

I don’t think Coleen works with Nadia much either. That’s probably why Nadia tends to mostly do Fridays and Coleen & Janet tend to do earlier in the week, Mondays and/or Tuesdays for the most part

I think Nadia is like Marmite for some of them. A lot of them love her, some of them dislike her.

I think Nolan, Street Porter, Moore, Sawahla, Adams, Welsh are all opinionated women - obviously that is needed to be on the show. They are all used to being the dominant or loudest voices in the room and they butt up against each other if they are all together. Nolan and JSP get on well. Adams, Welsh and Moore have a foot in both camps. Sawahla seems to be liked by all the others. I like JSP but she has quite the ego on her, she thinks she is top dog because of her previous CV. She used to be very rude to Carol Vorderman and Mylene Klass when they were on the show. Not a fan of CV or MK but someone should have told JSP to wind her neck in. I see JSP looking quite frail now, she mentions herself she shuffles now.

Did you notice that Nadia S was in one of the clips at the beginning of the conversations and I thought that must have been 1 of the few times I have seen them on the same panel (It has been discussed on NS forum) and I did see them clash about knife crime. I do like JSP and was quite suprised when she said how welcoming Col Nolan had been with her - never thought those 2 would get get on so well. Yes CN is on at the beginning of the week and never with NS and don't think Carol McGif had much time for NS.
Ruth is supposedly going to discuss her split with Eamonn when she returns next week.
Who on earth has dyed Christines hair, that black is far too harsh for her - IMO :)

Are Maddie and Shane back together? Coleen is talking about her and referred to her as her daughter-in-law. She may well be in legal terms but I wouldn't talk about my kid's ex in those terms. But maybe she still just thinks of her that way as I think she was fond of her.

Nolan wasn't fond of Shane's little girl's mum. She claimed that Nolan made her life hell. I think Nolan must have taken out an injunction or something because Emma doesn't seem to give interviews now.
