The fees were probably due to be raised anyway, with the energy bills and cost of living being so high , the £3k no longer holds the same value. We won't see the panellists scrimping and scraping, they will be looked after (the ones they want to keep, not those they want to get rid of).

I’m not talking about what they are paid, I’m talking about how they are paid. If part of that contract stated they will be on the payroll and taxed through PAYE at the standard rates rather than being able to put it through her limited company and then pay tax on most of her income as a dividend, then of course someone like Carol is kicking off. Assuming that change has been applied to everyone at ITV they also all have the same choice about whether to sign the new contract. Carol isn’t being forced out. HMRC have changed the IR35 (I think that’s what it’s called) rules regarding employment status so ITV probably don’t have a choice.
Carol can find plenty of black holes for her batshit views!

Yes but if the new tax method means their take home pay is less, I reckon ITV will just raise their fees to minimise the decrease on their take home pay.

Frankie's husband is a footballer, as is Christine's. It's not worth their while getting up at 7am to take home a grand at best.

Possibly, but I doubt it! More fool ITV if they feel obliged to give such a large pay rise to already wealthy people. They probably have increased the fee, but I don’t see why they should pander to people like Carol. If she needs money, she has property that she can either sell or rent out - if she doesn’t already. She hasn’t been treated any differently than anyone else.
Emma Kenny is also just as batshit as Carol and only seems to be happy when she is angry about something. She shouldn’t be seeing therapy clients when she isn’t of sound mind, but Emma has her own thread!

I wonder where in London her place is. Denise Welch also has an apartment in London. It looks like ITV may be paying for apartments for non-london based panellists. I know Coleen is put up in a hotel but that could be down to personal choice.

Wayne Bridge retired from football years ago and has done I'm a Celeb but he doesn't seem to have a job now, maybe a house husband and Frank Lampard looks like he won't have a job for much longer so seems the women earn the money in their marriages.

Perhaps they could get themselves a seat as a pundit on Match Of The Day.

Did anyone else realise that Frank Lampard is cousins with Jamie Redknapp? Good looks certainly runs in the family. Lucky Christine and Louise.

Their mothers are sisters. Another thing about him is he has a Masters degree in Latin and has IQ of more than 150 and one of the most intelligent footballers in the world.

I read a few years ago he has a Masters -

Moreover, Frankie has a Master's Degree in Latin and he scored 12 GCSEs at A or A*, including an A in Latin at his school in Essex. For now the Chelsea boss is the very embodiment of Albert Einstein's famous quote: 'The definition of genius is taking the complex and making it simple'.20 Nov 2019

Where is this quote from?
Frank Lampard is 44 which would mean he got an A* when he was 31 as they were introduced in 2010 😳 Doesn’t make sense!
