I, like Lizzy, tend not to wear a bra 90% of the time and that is just my preference but I do think it’s slightly dramatic to read comments on her post saying how they “commend her”. Like yeah normalise the desexualisation of (female) nipples but don’t blow smoke up her arse when it seems as though, by including the 3rd image, she is just doing so to appeal to the male gaze rather than subvert it. Rather than her nipples just being a normal everyday part of her body, they are the accessory. Or am I being ignorant?

This goes back to the discussion we've had a couple of times on here about the line between being proud of your body and flaunting it for attention. To me, it always comes down to the fact that Lizzy was born with the type of conventional physical beauty prized by Western culture, therefore she is not being "brave" for showing it because there is no risk. She knows she's thin with perky boobs and long legs, and will exploit it every time.

I went out for drinks today and I did not wear a bra because it’s very hot here and my dress has an open back. I’m a C cup so bigger than Lizzy, am I a ~rOlE mOdEl~ now? Do I deserve a medal? 😂

Lizzy only stopped wearing a bra when she moved to London, it’s all part of the new persona Lizzy’s adopted for the contrived aesthetic she’s going for.

You just know those IG pictures aren’t at all spontaneous or off the cuff and Lizzy spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to perfectly pose and recreate something she’s already seen on IG.

Was going to say the same thing. She started going braless once she became single and moved to London. All part of her SATC persona. It doesn't bother me if women decide to wear a bra or not wear a bra but Lizzy doesn't wear one purely for attention.

Katie ain’t wrong. Marginalized people have to work much harder (be more creative, take more risks, invest more money, etc.) for a modicum of what Lizzy has, especially now that the market is so saturated and despite the slow progress of inclusion. Great, genetics and generational wealth gave her a huge leg up, but for Lizzy and her followers to disregard that as Katie being negative or mean is just plain ignorant.

If y’all haven’t listened to the most recent episode of the podcast On the Cutting Room Floor, you really need to. It’s incredibly uncomfortable, but really important for moving the fashion industry beyond its white-washed, homogenous current state.

Sorry for the off topic jump, but since I haven't encountered someone who would not like Leandra (apart from people on reddit who immediately jumped onto how her husband is cheating her) could you share your opinion? (If it's okay with you, ofc.)
