She's completely incapable of seeing things from anyone else's perspective but her own. She likes organic vegan food, so it must be the best thing for her dogs. She likes designer cashmere, so it's a good present for someone's newborn baby. I came across a couple more articles she wrote in the past about people being inconvenienced by the dogs: Gracie scaring a blind person by barking at them in a pub, and an incident where Liz stayed in a cottage on holiday and was annoyed that the man next door didn't want her dogs coming into his garden around his children. Both times she whined "my dogs are just saying hello!" - she loves dogs so everyone else should accept her smelly, untrained collies. It just doesn't register with her why someone wouldn't want to be startled by an animal they can't see, or wouldn't want strange dogs around their kids. She's selfish, yes but she's also genuinely incapable of seeing anyone else's point of view

I get that vibe from the Celia Hammond business too. Liz has said previously that Celia is an old friend, and it seems Celia didn't do anything more about the dogs mauling the cat other than weakly say "do you think they'll do it again? Let me know if you want help". She does seem to conveniently find rescues who won't ask too many questions

I think it's possible she did fabricate the complaint but either way, she's naming someone who really does exist, has said he's bullying her and threatened (on her podcast) to sue him. Liz said she did not believe it was his real name but a quick Google would show that there's a real Andrew G Doe - even if it's an alias, he is an identifiable person

Yes that is him. He is a real person.

she has done this time and again. She uses her column to call out people.
I notice she didn’t name the cat sex journo though?
 
If I am correct, I believe that this journo (and her ex-husband who is now gay) worked for LJ and both are now much more successful than LJ. she’s famous and very, very well-connected, so a lawsuit was never gonna happen imho. IIRC, Luz had first made a barely concealed swipe at her in the MOS and she responded. (I think she’s also the recipient of the oft-mentioned cashmere baby blanket.)
 
I think Stef's Animal Rescue have dropped an enormous bollock on this one... breach of confidentiality, breach of GDPR being just two of their crimes. If Mr Doe chooses to get in touch with m'learned friends he's got them wholly over a barrel. The same goes for the MoS.
There isn't enough popcorn in the world.
 
Just for once I would love that Jones faced the consequences of her actions, and this could be the very thing. Either the rescue place did breach confidentiality, then Jones compounded it by printing the guy's name, or else she told a big fat lie that will need to be addressed by the MoS

Indeed m’Ludd! Stef’s animal rescue seems legit enough and well thought of on Twitter and Facebook.. er but…? It’s not owned owned by ‘Stef’. It’s owned by another lady called Jennifer Dunbar? Maybe Stef is a pseudonym, who knows? It’s a newly incorporated company, only ten months old. If Stef passed complaint to Liz directly from Mr Doe perhaps she didn’t expect it to be broadcast on podcasts and in press! So once again LJ causes havoc for those around her. Incidentally I didn’t dig deep for this info.. I was in bath( non oily, no diptyque candles), if you put in Stefs animal rescue, the company details come up.. 2 minutes max?
However a serious set of mistakes have been made mostly towards Andrew G Doe.
 
I simply do not know if either ‘Stef’, or the owner of business ‘Jennifer Dunbar’ would each be liable for data protection/ confidentiality breach or if ‘Stef’ has simply been daft in giving the info to LJ? What a mess…
How can you trust a rescue service that passes on complaints to the accused though? How can you trust a journo that uses this info to vilify and name private individuals in print or in podcasts? Who on earth at DM curbs LJ’s breaches?

I do call my girls my babies but only to them privately! They are all Romanian rescues but they are disciplined and know the rules. One was definitely fear aggressive when she arrived but with time, love and training (verbal reprimands or praise, treats, cuddles, etc) has mostly got over it though I never take them out without being on a harness and lead (well, sometimes they get to run the last 100m of the farm road into the gate after a walk if no one is around...)

Yeah,I bet you respect and love them as animals.. she sees them only in relation to her own esteem needs. I wondered how her dogs were able to lunge at walkers, chase bikes and nip at folk. She clearly uses a too long lead or maybe takes them off lead when she can see it the will bother people nearby? She has stated repeatedly that she gives precedence to her dogs in shops, restaurants and on hiking trails, where hillwalkers ‘frighten’ her puppies?
 
Her article where she whined about a blind person getting startled by her dog, acted sarcastic to that person's carer, and then said her untrained dog (cat-killer Gracie) was her "hearing dog" and had a right to be in the pub REALLY pissed me off. "Gracie only barked once to say hello!" It doesn't matter! She's not a hearing dog, and you don't have the right to let her upset disabled people!

Fancy naming a dog that's completely undisciplined, incontinent, chews everything, attacks walkers, chases cyclists, and kills and maims cats "Grace Kelly." Maybe the name of an actress known for horror movies would be more appropriate?

She once said that her dogs are and never would be collared or put on leads. Yet her Insta photos show them wearing harnesses indoors? There is also a photo of one of her dogs in a field close to sheep with no obvious lead attached

So let me understand this correctly. He complained to Steph as described but thinks the contents of his letter/ email were not leaked by her to Jones? How did the supposed mole in the fb group get the contents of his letter/ email then? I wouldn’t put it past LJ to infiltrate a Facebook page or group though.. she did it to David’s ex girlfriend, she signed in as David and began a convo with the woman.

FFS, mine all have collars with address and my contact details as per UK law! That includes the two that don't go out, one refusing to walk full stop on a lead and the other with agoraphobia, only going out of the house when on a harness and lead (she has a designated spot for her washable puppy pads). When on walks, the three that do have substantial harnesses (Julius K9) and solid 2m leads which I shorten when around other people, dogs or cars. The sheep in the two farms on either side of my road are pretty tough as it's a popular dog walking road thanks to being 40mph but my dogs never get allowed up to the fences or to bark at them. I'm surprised that she hasn't had a dog shot yet.

She spoke recently about buying a collar and harness for Teddy (the new rescue dog) and a while back when one of her dogs died she wrote that she'd buried the collar and harness with the dog. So they appear to have them, whether she bothers to use them is another matter
