well the plodcast was dire, don't know how you do it @witchofwestbyfleet you go above and beyond the call of duty by listening then recapping it, what a pile of crap and she gets another mortgage, in her 60's with a horrific credit history, thought bankruptcy etc remained on your credit file for 7 years, and I'm sure it wasn't that length of time since she lost her last home..who knows she tells so many lies this might just be another to make it look like she's able to buy a house, even though she just (allegedly) spent thousands putting underfloor heating, new kitchen etc in her rental, not sure that's true either though, not many landlords would let you refurb their property like that, good grief some landlords won't even allow you to decorate without express approval and rules to what you can and can't do. To add to which what sort of moron would pay that sort of money that they are not going to benefit from in the longer term, as soon as your tenancy ends you walk away with nothing..though doubtless if there is any truth in any of it, she'll moan on and on about how much money she spent improving the place and she got nothing in return.
 
Yep no comments getting through on her diary again. Last time that happened was ‘Russellgate’.. . all went awol for a couple of days. A few weeks ago she bemoaned the fact that she had two hand towels to her name and now we hear she been buying tens of thousands of washing machines and fridges over the last few years. Her lying is Trumpian in its magnitude.
It did occur to me that Cambridge man(resurrected in desperation over the last week or two)is an Estate Agent? I always thought he’d contacted her originally cos he saw a quick sale and some hefty commission? If he actually exists then I wish him well.
Her ego has made her ripe for the picking.
To take on a mortgage you can Ill afford in your mid sixties when your column writing is floating perilously on the Sea of Disaster… wow..! I predict a second bankruptcy before she’s 70.

Go to the mail app, click on the three ellipses on the bottom right corner, click on the magnifying glass at the top right, on the box that comes up, type in Liz Jones Diary and it’s at the top.

She is very gloaty this week! It positively vomits off the page.

Like all true narcissists she always has to volley off some insults when she thinks she’s won. Be careful who you kick on the way up Liz! You’ll be needed those landlords soon!

The column is weeks behind.. if she got a mortgage offer it’s going through. Comments are silenced cos she cannot have contributions that expose her lying, previous financial mistakes or any comment that shows she’s making stuff up? She did the same when she was made bankrupt? She silenced comments that challenged how much stuff she was buying/ holidays. She’s beyond incorrigible, she’s a malignant Narc.
 
Just thought I’d post this given the veto on diary comments of late and the inevitable horrific podcast. It’s a really insightful interview by Suzanne Moore and verifies what a lot of us feel here. The abhorrence from Liz towards a heavier person is skilfully written about.

I’m thinking that it would almost have been meaner of Suzanne to hold back. I do wonder what happened to make Liz like she is, it’s like she enjoys misery. I am so tempted to read her novel…

The excerpt from ‘The Tortoise’ first chapter is available on this thread. I think it was @witchofwestbyfleet who linked it to us. Main character is a serial killer by the way who has in her sights a thinly veiled David Scrace and his girlfriend(Garnier Fructis) It is appallingly written. I’ve never read ‘8 and a half stone’.. in the same way as I wouldn’t read an 18th century text applauding slavery. I’m truly not sure how she was able to pigeon hole Asian communities and those disabled by obesity. It’s beyond contempt.
