Liz Fraser #8 So many Liz’s and not a single one to like…

I would imagine after a couple episodes some people might think twice about being the next guest! This is starting to have shades of retreat memories.

The only name I’ve heard of on that list is Kat Farmer - as discussed above, she is awful. I follow her thread on here and it’s been shocking to witness how she threw away her happy family life for a rented flat, an affair with a married man, and barely if ever seeing her children.

She also clearly has an eating disorder and drinks way too much… hang on, remind you of anyone?
---
Perhaps she’s going to be podcasting from the bathtub on YouTube. Might as well play to her (tiny) audience of Clives.
---
So these are apparently the first guests on the podcast.
- Clara Batten
- Kat Farmer
- Louise Boyce
- Denise Boomkens
- Weird Watercolours
- Helen Thorn

I’ll be honest, I don’t know any of these. But they all have considerably more followers than Liz, so there is that.

Well done for getting a screenshot. We might have to start making a habit of it if she’s going to delete stuff. Shades of Jack Monroe again…

I just can’t be doing with her “comedy” insta reels. So much second-hand embarrassment, I’m cringing myself inside out. WHAT an advert for her so-called “comedy podcast”. 😕
This podcast thing is going to be truly terrible.
It’s truly not going to happen.

Am I right? Only small, thin women will be interviewed?
---
We haven't forgotten her ranting about people with "too much girth" and "too much hair dye" in the pub. Nice bit of fat shaming there Liz
---
But you know, women supporting women. It's a shame that wasn't at the forefront of her mind when she shagged several other women's husbands - and at least two of those were her "friends". Very supportive
Maybe she’s interviewing them in series 2. Or Mike’s new partner who Liz hunted through the streets of Oxford. These I would listen to!
---
Ugh Kat Farmer is an atrocious woman. And as for Clara Batten...dear god a line up of complete narcissistic a***holes!!
It will be cat fights at dawn. Liz despises women. Even more do, skinny, attractive, successful women.

Perhaps she can finally release the podcasts she made for Edgelord Press, as a look at her own failures first?

and good god Kat Farmer. Kat used to be interesting, funny and engaging, she used to have a TV career, she used to be a big influencer, she used to have her own podcast, she used to design items for (M&S (well, a shoe anyway), she used to have a nice family, house and dog. She has none of those things now, for all of her own bad decisions and her life is tragic in comparison….

I doubt she’d choose a Liz production to discuss her fall from grace

It will be interesting to see who does their research before agreeing to go on - and if all those names that were rapidly wiped (but noted here) remain on the list… right now I’m wondering how long it’ll be before the fundraising starts.

I think she has panicked seeing that we're now discussing her supposed guests on here and worried that they'll use Tattle tea as a reason not to go on. Liz really doesn't think before she does anything does she? Really disappointed in Helen Thorn tbh.
I think it's more likely that none of them actually agreed formally to appear on this shitshow, I mean, podcast, in the first place.

It'll be like all her premature announcements - the fabulous job in Austria, the travel articles, the 3-book deal etc. She got ahead of herself and announced something that hadn't actually been agreed, and then it didn't materialise.

Also, the names she announced have BIG followings. The smallest has 64,900 followers on Insta, all the others have between 115,000 and 979,000. Liz has 5,430. So what on earth would these people have to gain from going on Liz's podcast?? - unless they are being paid (they won't be), or they are very good friends and are doing her a favour (which I doubt - she doesn't seem to have friends). So that's another reason why I don't think this thing will ever take off.

I think she tagged them to get more circulation, then one of them pointed out it looked like they were appearing so she removed the names.
They’re not the sort of people that would tempt me to listen to a podcast
Just by way of comparison, this is what the blurb to Jill Halfpenny's new podcast looks like. I'm going to have a listen.

Jill draws from her own experiences of vulnerability to discuss the dilemmas we all face. Each week, our listeners ask us their most pressing questions, and one lucky caller joins Halfpenny for a live, unscripted conversation that provides real connection and insight. The questions range from the very personal to the fun and quirky.

With a career spanning stage and screen, and a life marked by deep personal experiences, Jill has an unfiltered approach to life's most complex questions.

Known for her raw vulnerability and remarkable resilience, shaped by personal losses, including the sudden death of her father when she was four years old and the unexpected death of her partner Matt in 2017, she Brings a unique perspective to the conversation.

She doesn't try to solve everything, but explores questions with listeners with honesty, curiosity, and her signature sense of humor.

Jill says: “I always loved to know what made my friends happy and what bothered them, and since I was a child, my favorite part of magazines was the section about aunts in agony. Dear Jill is a great way for me to connect and cut through the small talk and let the listener know what's really going on. I'm a real nosy too!”

Dear Jill launches today, Tuesday, December 10th,
