I’ve not seen them try to erase her at all…. It’s probably painful to talk about her. This is someone who was with them for so so so long and to leave allegedly through a statement and block everyone on all form of contact is not nice, especially to Perrie who was was quite close to and she could of ruined their careers, her leaving could’ve killed Little Mix and made her career huge - it didn’t but it could’ve and to do that to friends is terrible.

They may have been on the same journey, but they definitely don’t share the same level of support for each other as thr trio did. Perrie’s main point in that discussion was that, despite going their separate ways, they still have each other’s backs 100%. They’ve maintained a sisterhood where they know they can reach out anytime, and the other person will truly understand what they’re going through. Perrie wasn’t trying to erase Jesy at all; in fact, she mentioned her frequently, especially when talking about meeting Alex and how Jesy was there to encourage her.

Exactly! It is very much the opposite imo. The fact Perrie still is giving kudos to Jesy for basically making her go out with Alex is doing the opposite of erasing her. Tbh, Perrie is a better person than me because if I had been friends with someone for nearly 10 years and one day they just blocked me, didn't explain anything and didn't come back to our job together in which I very much rely on her to be apart of it(mind you they were filming their reality shows final episodes at the time and due to go on the EMAs when she did all this). Then the same person proceeded to insult our mutual friend/colleague on social media, I would be saying "my friend" and not mentioning her name at all to give her kudos as all that was destroyed when she chose to do what she did.

Yes I'm still very bitter, haha and seeing the amount of people saying this should make up after Perrie on the podcast has frustrated me. No, they shouldn't and see when they do come back as Little Mix, I'm so so glad there is basically a next to no chance they will do it with her because I just can't see Leigh-Anne forgiving and if she doesn't the others won't.
 
Regardless of what she was going through etc these where her friends, her ‘sisters’ as she called them the very least she could of done is told them and not just blind sided them by blocking them that’s so hurtful. I’ve never blamed jesy for leaving everyone in life needs to do what’s best for them and their mental health etc but don’t treat the people around you badly there’s just no excuse for it. It would never work with them back as a four because she’s destroyed the trust and respect they had built unfortunately after she left they had to learn how repair that as a three & I believe if her solo career had done well she’d never of looked back so anything now will feel false.

it’s like she put the blame of all her insecurities and negativity on to the girls but they were only ever there for her, but that’s just my opinion 🤷‍♀️
 
I was watching Nicky Byrne from Westlifes podcast and it was with Brian who left, very quickly like Jesy like a week or so before Tour and it was nice to see an honest conversation and Brian now seeing him leaving in a similar fashion to jesy was so selfish. Like Nicky said, he could have been the next Robbie and it could have destroyed Westlife when they relied on him as a member to maintain their careers and it’s exactly the same here. Although it is a job, when it’s a group is so complicated and personal like a family.
 
She is a great vocalist and deserves to sing those kind of songs but as she said, promotion is mainly on social media now and ballads just dont pull the same viral moments, it won’t go anywhere

i could listen to her sing ballads all day, she is genuinely one of the best vocalists of the last decade

There were people who argued with me earlier in this thread that the girls friendship was just a work thing and I think the girls being at Leigh’s show tonight and Perrie’s podcast comments today show that it is a genuine deep friendship with a bond that I don’t believe will be broken.

I don’t think the girls will ever make up with Jesy. It wasn’t just how she left but the way she acted after she left. Jesy convinces herself she hasn’t talked bad about the girls because she continues to say she wishes them well and they are still “sick” but her she also in the same breath belittles all their achievements as a group, laughs along at someone saying horrible things about someone she considered a sister and many other incidents. I’m sure now her career hasn’t panned out the way she wanted, she would love for the girls to accept her back into the fold so she’d have Little Mix to fall back on but I think that bridge is well and truly burned.

I do think Perrie and Leigh-Anne had a bit of fall out or didn't really speak when they split up. I do think the sad news of Liam Payne has brought them back together though.

I personally think they just drifted when the band initially split and needed space, seems like they’ve spent more time together recently and it’s helped. Perrie’s been pretty honest about struggling this year so it’s nice that she’s said Leigh has openly been there for her. I agree the news about Liam will put it into perspective for them even more.
 
I do think it’s a shame that these small shows are not showcasing her very well, she’s not singing a lot of it and when she is she’s lip syncing over pre-recorded live vocals…. It’s so incredibly disappointing to see someone who I rated highly (with Little Mix) as a vocal group be so half arsed.

I don't think so! Sure on the podcast she was talking about how Leigh-Anne was gonna visit her because she was telling her how she was having a rough time with her anxiety. That was before Liam's death too because it was filmed the day his death was announced/morning after.

I think Perrie's anxiety for sure gets in the way of things and that for eg, is why she didn't go to her wedding but I think at this point they are all understanding of that considering I'm sure they've witnessed her panic attacks.

Agreed. I feel like she really struggles having to sing the full songs on her own…
