Perrie’s been in the studio with all the wrong people, I get working with people she knows will make her more comfortable but it won’t make her a hit.

Jade is in the room with all the right people, plus has an already fleshed out creative process herself.

I don't hate it, but it's just the same as others, totally meh. She has such a good bloody voice and she's stunning, she'd be so bleeping easy to market, how are they getting this so wrong? Ugh Perrie girl, there's still time to save this!

I do feel a bit bad for Perrie because she seems genuinely lovely, but both she and Jade took 2+ years to release music, and in those two years it's clear that Jade busted her ass to figure out what sort of artist she wanted to be and her music and the reception she's gotten reflects that. But, Perrie doesn't seem to have any identity at all, it seems like she just puts out whatever her team thinks will do best on the radio and it's all just completely devoid of personality. She comes across as relatively charismatic in interviews but her music is just so bland.

Perrie doesn't really seem interested in being an artist the way Jade is, I genuinely think Perrie just wants to be a popstar, handed songs and she'll just dance around, singing them and looking hot. I feel like she was just born with a gift that she wants to use (fair enough) but Jade actually enjoys the process. Perrie's life is Axel which is completely understandable, whereas Jade is putting her life and soul into this. You can definitely tell the difference.
