After the revelation of what was on the pictures in the flat, I was trying to work out if they were saying ‘jizz’or ‘CHIS’ in subsequent conversations
Remind me of Lee Banks pleaseCarl Banks = related to Lee Banks?
Glad I'm not the only one feeling like that! Excellent summaryDoes anyone else feel like they have no clue what the bloody hell is going on yet? I feel like I need to rewatch it again to pick everything up.
So it's Terry from series 1, Mr Waistcoat is addicted to pain and wants to leave and get back with that old girlfriend of his (did he ever sort out his erectile dysfunction?), Kate has jumped ship, Ted looks strained... how the hell did Buckles rise so high up? I hate that bloke, he's such a wet wipe.
That Farida girl strikes me as a bit mental. I reckon she'll be a major player in bringing the DCI down.
I loved the bit where DCI was pressuring the guy to give his chis up and asks "Is the word ma'am in your vocab?" and he goes "No. Ma'am" really sassy like
That’s what I thought, you could almost see the cogs going in her head off how she could use the situation to her advantage/to get info. This reminded me of her getting close to Dot a few series ago... hmmm. I’m not sure what to make of it yet.
Member of the OCG, Ted visited him in prison last series, he’s the one who killed maneetRemind me of Lee Banks please
I thought that too about Lee Banks!Carl Banks = related to Lee Banks?
Anyone else think Kate was undercover at first and wondering what her new F surname would be?
The woman in the photograph at the end with Davidson, maybe her mum, I thought she resembled Corbett's mum Anne-Marie.
The Gail Vella/Terry Boyle plot is so much the Jill Dando/Barry George case. I always wonder who was responsible for Jill's murder.
Anyone else get really nervous when Davidson and Farida were arguing and that huge suitcase was on the bed Chekhov's suitcase, it was so prominent in the scene.
Part of the syndicate, he slit Maneet Bindra’s throat.Remind me of Lee Banks please
Honestly wish we'd had another violent start to the episode, and I know I've already said that I feel like I had high expectations and just wish Dot would rise from the grave and have two men shoot through the interrogation room again to give me some adrenalin x
Terry had Jackie in his freezer still in season 5, Ryan Pilkington who was the runner for Ocg, now in the police visited him a lot as did Lisa macqueen from s5. Doubt he Has any role other than being exploited though. What was the significance of the photo and wine glass throwing? Is Terry definitely something to do with Jackie Lafferty? Is this new DCI something to do with Jackie? Did we ever even find Jackie ?

Lee Banks was a member of the OCG in s5, I think he killed Maneet (RIP ). He was arrested and is in jail, where St Ted visited him and MAY have deliberately revealed that Corbett was a cop so that Corbett would be offed by the OCGRemind me of Lee Banks please
Thank you for this! I remember the Terry - Jackie freezer but had no idea if that had ever been discovered.Terry had Jackie in his freezer still in season 5, Ryan Pilkington who was the runner for Ocg, now in the police visited him a lot as did Lisa macqueen from s5. My heart was seriously pumping when they went to the flat. I was expecting them to accidentally shoot a minor or something.Cracking up at this The first eps of LOD always give me major anxiety coz something usually pops off. But this one was quite subdued!
The dci said that she was having sex with KateI don't think she's a lesbian, she seemed a bit confused by the hand holding thing. But agreed it did seem a bit random to throw in!
edited to add: Maybe Kate will use this to her advantage to get closer to DCI and get more info?
