So many questions
Which policeman did Jo think was her father???
How the feck did Kate get in the prison van?
Why was Buckells soooo scared in his prison cell if he was the head honcho?
If you were the top dog why wouldnā€™t you just feck off to the Caribbean with all your money?
The prison van bit was really irritating. The takeover would have been the most interesting bit of tonight's episode and they cut it!

I thought she thought that old bloke was her father.

Heā€™s not the head, he was just the fourth corrupt officer working for the OCG. Heā€™s still at risk with the OCG if he spills anything.
she thought fairbank was giving her the orders. Must not have known the state he was in.
I just couldnā€™t take buckells seriously as a clever bastard because of that bleeping accent. Would have been better if he did a full personality flip

I'm a huge Line of Duty fan, watched it right from the start when it was on bbc2 and have re watched several times through, but what was that ending? So disappointing, I feel robbed like after the game of thrones ending and as someone else said in an earlier thread how Lost ended. I'm really hoping for another series as if that is it then it's very underwhelming. And Jed if you are doing another series PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring Aldi Dot back. I was really hoping for it to be Neil Morrissey as "H", that would have been amazing. I am pleased though that Jimmy nesbitt only appeared in a picture and not actually acting in it as I can not stand the man šŸ¤£

I have tomorrow off work. I thought Iā€™d be rewatching for clues that point to H. I will now be drowning my sorrows to that tit ending! šŸ˜‚ so many loose ends. Lomax? Got to be bent. Carmichael where does she really fit into this last series? Osbourne there from the start. Aargh.

This is the problem when TV shows get popular, thereā€™s a risk of getting greedy and going on for too long. That finale was written with the intention of leaving enough for another series when, if iā€™m being honest, as much as I absolutely adore the show, it should have concluded fully tonight. We donā€™t know where the duck the big three are, is Lomax bent, is Buckells REALLY the mastermind, what is Carmichael up to, where does Osborne fit into all of this... Mother of God fellas Iā€™m disappointed

The problem with programmes which have such hype is that the ending never seems to live up to the expectation. GoT, Sons of Anarchy, The Sopranos, Dexter ... all had atrocious and unsatisfactory endings.

The final was 'definately' written with the intention of doing more if they want to. Very weak.

Personally, I'd have found it more satisfactory if the three of them were walking outside the building and a black Range Rover drove by shooting them all ... šŸ”«šŸ”«šŸ”«

Fairbank was her ā€œdadā€.

Buckles was scared because he wasnā€™t the one killing people off and giving the orders. He was just accommodating the OCGs and sorting things in their favour. He wasnā€™t exactly the mastermind behind it all. He said it was the ocg that were killing people. So he would have been scared seeing that in front of him? (I think!)

I know Iā€™m in the minority but I liked it

Someone helped Buckells progress to the point where a jobsworth idiot was In a position to facilitate OCG activity? Or is it yet another layer of mundanity whereby fools do get promoted and get on in this world.

I think itā€™s a massive commentary on how far average white men can go.
