So my theory is a bit out there 🤣 but I don’t actually think the house with all the locks is Jo’s house or if it is it’s a second house. I don’t understand why ac-12 wouldn’t have asked her about the locks etc when they searched it. I think it’s where she goes to speak to the OCG etc.
Would explain why she got so upset by the photo in the first episode if the OCG have put it there to remind her who’s boss

Hastings is mega dodgy. He didn't report his financial difficulties in series two, and he got caught up in the dodgy property deal in the first place. He shagged Gill Biggeloe. He issued a Farenheit order to Steve against John Corbett, when Corbett was going to expose who H was. He was adamant that Hilton was H and wanted to stop the investigation there. He meddles too much. He accepted the cash from the OCG; it may not have been directly from them, but he knows what's going on when you accept wads of cash in a brown envelope. Something's going on with Steph, even if it may only be him wanting to look out for them... although his motivation for that is because he had a thing with Corbett's mum which is in itself indication that he's dodgy because Corbett's mum was his informant.

I'm not sure he's H because I think that's just too obvious, but if he wants to catch bent coppers he could start by handcuffing himself 💁‍♀️

I did wonder why the locks weren’t mentioned but I’ve only watched the episode once so far (I know, shocking 🤣 no bloody time with the kids at home!) so wanted to go back and make sure they actually did say they searched it. So I think your theory could make sense that it’s some sort of second house 🤔

How they’ve dragged it out for this long anyway is obscene. I still like the show but I think one storyline/one bent copper (wahey) per season worked so much better. This H thing is going to be disappointing whatever happens just after how long it’s been going on
