Everything she does in life is so half-assed. And then she has the nerve to moan about other people‘s effort (on social media! The business she invented!) and can’t work out how they do things. Often enough that results in her completely overthinking an idea, until she once again half-asses the execution of said idea and disguises it under „realism“.
It’s painful to see that she applies the same principle to anything to do with her children, from buying them presents to doing fun things without them because it would be too much effort.
Honestly, I think it’s often important to make things in life easier for yourself and not expect yourself to be perfect at everything. But Lily is willingly showing us how she wants everything and does nothing. And then moans about it.

Also these droopy thin bows next to a tin can bauble and a soy sauce one, and a brown paper bauble are hardly jolly. Very dreary and not any better than a neutral aesthetic in my opinion.

Especially as her numbers are not great, not growing a new audience. Her Foggy Moanings had potential, until she said she was only going to do 4 a year. That's not enough for her to get more confident, or for her audience to grow.

I know she comes from a wealthy family who would help her out with money or a job, but I still find it baffling that she invests zero effort into the longevity of her career and always just does the bare minimum.
We're talking about someone who has time to play pickle ball on a weekday morning, does pottery classes and who spends a few hours on a trip to a bakery to buy the newest "viral" piece of cake/ French toast/ whatever. Someone who faffs around with preparing her lunch every day.
This woman has all the time in the world to do Foggy Moanings once a month and she also has the time to do Vlogmas with a daily 10-15mins video.
She keeps hinting at them moving house soonish - something bigger and trendier, I assume, so how is she letting all these big money opportunities just pass her by?

Well I've finally watched the foggy mornings. This Lydia comes across very pretentious and snotty, I've never seen her before and aren't going to follow. Interesting few insights though, like the fact that lily is the one who cooks in the house, no wonder kids always eat the spag bol. Her great-grandma had 7 children, lived in South London and didn't have much. This bit surprised me, as I thought it was her grandparents who came over to UK during the war as migrants, but maybe it was the great grandparents.

I think Lily and Rich are living very comfortably. Maybe not crazy rich, but rich enough to not bother to earn more. As long as she can beg all of their activities and splurge on herself, she won’t see the need to put in any extra effort. I assume that there are funds for any educational expenses the children might need. Probably sponsored by her family.
If nothing changes we will not see her putting real effort into growing her channel. She has successfully detangled from Anna. Has a stable audience. So she will go one like this till early retirement.
And I have to admit- I absolutely di envy that she has this option. I refuse to put myself or my children out there (yes yes one of those parents that thinks that children deserve complete anonymity on the internet till they are at least 16) and basically pimp my family out for money. But not worrying about money to that extent, while having so much time for myself and my family would be lovely. I probably would do the same- minimal input for maximum output. It’s not as if anyone will thank her for doing more than the bare minimum. Still love to bitch about her doing a shitty job though- she doesn’t care (neither would I in her situation)
