The sneak peek of her 'Foggy mornings'... Wow. That white striped dress does nothing for her, her bra is showing, and with her posture she looks pregnant in it. (which, thanks to her update yesterday we know she's not.) Even with someone she knows well, she still comes across as being very uncomfortable, trying to perform for camera and failing. 'I feel very hostess-y'. WHY does NObody in her life tell her to stop adding random y's to words??

This project will fail because she does not know enough people to visit, and she will not want to put in too much effort, eventhough Georgia will be the one filming. And then of course she'll have another wobble. Poor Lily. Life is sooooo hard...
 
Takeaways from Poobs’ foggy morning at Ruth’s kitchen

1: she is the only one who has to make content out of every little corner of her home decor projects. She kept asking Ruth abt kitchen reveal - who never felt like documenting or doing a before/ after - and it is clear that Ruth’s kitchen is well-thought out, timeless, quite elegant. Not the patchy trying to be trendy mess that is Poob’s current kitchen, and here she is always acting like she is so damn good with home content with her projects and hacks. I dont sub to Ruth anymore so I dont know what’s her content pillar anyway.

2. Poobs being a selfish thoughtless ass - when Ruth was making tea, she automatically offered to make one for Georgie as well, and for a moment Poobs wonder why Ruth made an extra tea.

3. Poobs is very childish. In her food and snack choices & from her comments about Ruth’s choices. She even thinks that Ruth’s cheeseboard is so fancy.

4. Poobs think that she is the only creative person with brilliant ideas but they are rejected by Rich who isnt the creative, so she finds it so cool that Ruth and her husband are both such creatives.

(I know the video isnt meant to be a comparison of Poobs vs other people’s kitchen but i cant help but compare.)

5. Poobs has zero idea of how to serve up a cheeseboard - so much for being a foodie. Ok actually Poobs is just a pickle-die. Everything else she has no worthy opinion of.

Video ends with Poobs plugging Ruth’s book in her own fugly kitchen. Ruth has a really beautiful practical spacious kitchen.

If only she is still friends with Anne, I bet she will go to HER BEIGE STERILE kitchen.
 
What a strange thumbnail choice. You can’t really read ‘foggy mornings’ in the red font, and her and Ruth look like they’re in the middle of an argument. It’s not enticing me to watch it as someone who knows who she is, I definitely wouldn’t if it came up as a random recommended video.

Thank you for this summary, I haven’t watched it, but I just watched her "enticing" preview snippet on Instagram of her and Ruth laughing in Ruth’s kitchen and I thought…if she’s such a self-proclaimed marketing genius, what was with the music choice?

Like, she writes a description of the vibe of the series:

" ~ Foggy Mornings: The cozy and calm sensation experienced when entering the kitchen at the start of the day, making that first cup of tea or coffee, and gradually feeling the mental clarity emerge as the brain fog slowly disappears.~ "

…but the music choice is anything but cozy and calm and what they are doing is not having a nice calm morning chat with a friend but instead looking very staged and awkward and trying to appear like they’re having hilarious "we’re so quirky" girly fun.

It feels like a poorly-planned and executed mess (as usual). If foggy mornings is meant to be the vibe, the promo snippet doesn’t deliver it.

Also, I can’t believe the tea thing! Just says it all really about her thoughtlessness for other people, poor Georgia 😭 I’d love her to dump working with Lily, surely it’s not fun!

Agree it’s so boring, Ruth comes off quite well and very articulate about the kitchen style mid century etc but Lily is like a teenager she says she finds making tea and coffee stressful, hard and soft cheese stressful- what is wrong with her?! She also is really rude calling rich uncreative, as if she is a creative genius she is so horrible!
 
How can you make so many mistakes in one video?
The name, the title font and colour, the intro music, the way she talks to Ruth... nothing about this is cozy, and certainly not calm. It also highlighted what a nervous person Lily is, when she shares how the simplest things 'stress her out'. Cutting cheese? Really?
Ruth is so much more mature, you can tell she's actually had to work to get where she is today. Ruth is funny, and quick, and so much more at ease within herself I think?
And that's without how rude Lily was towards Georgia, 'yes you can have a tea'. Wow...

I also loved how Ruth has this huge bookshelf in her kitchen, and had trouble picking one book as her favourite as she has so many. Lily was every so proud of herself for having finished Ruth's book whilst on holiday because she 'doesn't have time to read'. And then suddenly when at the end she showed Ruth's book, she mentioned 'It's non-fiction', only because Ruth asked if she was allowed to pick one fiction and one non-fiction book as her favourite. Lily has mentioned Ruth's book many times before, but never used that term. Guess nobody told her, until Ruth did.

Other than maybe Caroline, I can't imagine Lily finding anyone else who might want to film this with her? Especially as she will not want to travel much for this, as she will not get paid like with a press trip. It will be too much hard work to organise and film and edit.

How long before she has a wobble about this? My guess is she's already having one, reading this forum..... Poor Lily....
