Not saying that kids don’t eat these things, but this is Lily and you know she hates sharing with her family. This is her very own after school fancy snack, all for herself 😁

I thought to myself “it’s ok I suppose but not ‘incredible’”. Stop exaggerating everything, you dingbat!

Also, what is incredible? The lamp? The merchandizing? The random assortment of things? USE YOUR WORDS, LILY!
 
In her video rambling abt her video series “foggy mornings” (she sounds sooooo proud of this branding lols) it became very obvious the reasons for the Poobs and Anna fallout:

1 dispute over wanting to work on a new podcast series together - Lily is full of ideas and doesnt want to work alone but Anna isnt keen and is retreating into her leaky house and starting on the beige kitchen project
2 loss of identity and confidence being a mom of two while Anna continues to retreat and doesnt seem to want to bond with Poobs over motherhood even though they are going through it together
3 things just got to a point when Poobs had to leave this whole work wife ‘divorce’, change management agency

all these major changes caused her self esteem to wobble for the longest time the past couple of years til she recently “found” herself again, with the dopamine dressing, learning to be more independent (keyword is learning), find new ple to work with (paying Georgia to help her film but also double up as a work partner cos she cant work alone, so much for independence)… meanwhile copy more ideas from other people and moaning about how she wish she can monetize everything she puts out… talk about delusion but hey ho, she is feeling better (nobody told her any falling out takes time to heal she just thinks she got to be okay asap?)
 
I find it so icky when influencers share things made or written by their child. Nothing is sacred; I bet one of the first things that popped into Lily's head was "omg this is so cute for sharing on Instastories".

It’s gross. I know it’s just a couple of words but this is essentially Grey writing a diary entry about how she’s feeling…and her attention-seeking mother takes it upon herself to show it to the world without (I’m assuming) permission 😫

I came here after watching the video to see if tattlers where analysing Lily's messages between the lines and was shocked to see only 2 comments on it. Thank you for your analysis. I agree. The wobble was all about Anna and the podcast.

Now Lily, fuck Anna. She can stay in her beige drafty house in 'Brighton', don't give her this much power over you. Losing confidence over someone like her? Please

I agree with someone’s previous comment and think her agency made a decision between her and Anna. They chose Anna and dropped Lily. Hence the ‘I’m not good enough’ confidence knock. This would also be extremely awkward between the two of them

Let’s compare and contrast with my absolute fave Instagrammer, Korinna from isthistooyoungforme. She is a ray of sunshine, made a whole vid, added it to her grid, and there are some super nice things that I actually WILL be searching out at M&S as a result. Why do agencies and stores bother with Lily? Just WHY???

 
As someone who actually works in marketing, Lily's comments are mind-boggling to me. Especially since she prides herself in her PR degree and behind-the-scenes industry chats.

I had to start planning our Christmas campaign in June. Guess I should have told them that I was not quite ready for it.

Also, in business, 99% of the work you do does not bring you any revenue. Imagine if a food brand said that they should be paid for the recipes they post online (which, unlike Lily's mindless drivel, is actually useful content).

If I were her alma mater, I would be embarrassed. She's absolutely clueless.

Oh wow I didn’t know her but that’s a true influencer, I never bought any clothes in M&S and want to buy everything she tried on lol

what stuns me is that there has been a shift in how influencers are perceived and often they get criticised for monetising everything while not making any ad-free content, yet lily's public contribution directed at her followers is "oh my god, i so wish i was able to get paid for everything i post and didn't have to make this stupid organic content for free lolz"

marketing is also about knowing what your potential customers want, but lily's focus is only directed at what other influencers are doing and how to copy them without even considering if it aligns with her brand... if she even knows what her brand is because she copies that as well

overall i'm not surprised the agency picked up anna over lily – while lily might be entertaining from a follower's (and snarker's 💀) perspective, she would be a nightmare to work with
