😬😬😬 my son currently has 2 baths a week as he has eczema, although we have a new treatment that looks really promising. Am I Lily?!

I have lupus, so I get eczema-like rashes every so often. I went on a vacation and came accross and UAE made ointment (mebo) and it worked like magic. Now I can't find in Europe, but the ingredients are pretty simple: sesame oil and royal jelly. I do my own little ointment and it's truly incredible.
I have very bad reaction to steroids so this literally saved my life.
I know you didn't ask for any advice, but it's way too good, cheap, and safe not to share !

She overthinks things yet is impetuous at the same time. Such an oddball.

Personally I would’ve thought about this area whilst designing the kitchen, or failing that, had an all in one bench and seating unit made to measure. I’d never just buy things on a whim, assume they’ll look fantastic then cry afterwards. Of course I don’t have her disposable income so my purchases are more considered!
If she had had the bench made in straight lines, in black, it would have tied in with the kitchen. Now it doesn't. At all. Or with anything else in her house. Or, the red would work if she also had a red sofa, or something. She will add blue (I think?) striped cushions to it, which makes it even more of a disaster. But hey, what Lily wants, Lily gets. Except when she gets it, she no longer wants it... Oh well...

Exactly. Just waiting for it 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

She says things in videos e.g. can't buy furniture in person anymore and she doesn't have the time to swap per seasonal clothes around that makes me think she is a bit of a simpleton - like there is nothing going on inside her brain apart from a monkey bashing cymbals, its like her brain stopped developing aged 21

I don't understand how Lily can continue to publicly display her stupidity out on the internet for all to see. After every stupid thing she said, I just kept thinking, "you know you can [insert verb here]." For example, Lily complaining how gross her old toothbrush would get - "you know you can wipe it down". Saying she hopes blue is one of her colors -"you know you can wear any color you want even if a color analysis suggest otherwise". When she says she'll wear a dress, but it doesn't feel like her anymore - "you know if you'll wear it, you can keep it".

Don't even get me started on the "shorts bit" on a pair of shorts 🤦🏻‍♀️

She's having cushions made, and has not stopped moaning about how expensive they will be. Poor Lily having to pay for something herself....

has she not heard of the cost of living crisis? Everything has gone up. I bet it’s hardly affected influencers because how can the price increase when everything is free ..

in the normal world, everything has gone up - rent, mortgages, food, petrol etc.

bespoke cushions are a luxury- they probably ain’t gon be cheap…. *eye roll. The whole vlog was I didn’t know on repeat.

I’m going to be charitable and say I understand the look she’s going for. Built in bench/nook areas can be a great use of space and I think putting panels in an area where you can’t use furniture to frame a space is a nice idea. Though she could have used paint instead.

But for someone who seemingly overthinks everything in her life and has been through more dining tables in the last couple of years than I’ve purchased in my entire life, she’s failed. She’s gone for a table that’s the wrong colour, the wavy panels are trend driven rather than practical, the seats don’t match and not in a fun bohemian way, and if she were to pan the camera round you’d realise how much it doesn’t go with any of the rest of her design decisions. Throw in some expensive stripy cushions and she’s going to hate those too eventually.

I think as influencers get so used to doing things on a reduced (or zero) cost they jump the gun, and make poor decisions. She could have waited for the right table, gone to a show room, asked the manufacturer for a wood sample to colour match. That’s what people spending their own money do.
The whole area would look a ton cosier with tongue and groove panelling instead of the random wave monstrosity in burgundy. She could have put a soft pink, sage green or soft blue colour there for a bit of contrast. Lovely bespoke stripy cushion would look nice. How old is Rudy now? The table and its legs make no sense there.

Love how when they took the paper off the bench there was already fingerprints on it that she immediately remarked on. Instant hate.

this I don’t not understand. This woman has renovated multiple times before. There are various types of paint- Matt, satin, gloss. Gloss leaves marks!! Satin would have been the way to go. She has no excuse smh

I feel like buying large pieces of furniture for us normal plebs is a big deal and of course we go to the showroom / store. I personally love buying antiques (original mid century) and find my treasures in antique shops where I can look, feel, measure.. shes just so dumb and makes everything sound so challenging when it isn’t. That table she bought will be gone within a year. Legs are too bulky and you won’t be able to get more than the 4 of them around it. The bench will also be repainted as the gloss will mark like duck. Enjoy Lils.

an antique table would have looked so much better!! But you can’t af those!

Lovely little comment on her video 🤭

The kitchen bench is a disaster. It's not like she's on a super tight budget like a broke university student, picking up mismatched second-hand furniture from the street. She's just plain stingy and has no taste, that's it. I'd apply to a professional if I had her funds. Or just ask your mate Ruth Crilly, she's obsessed with renovation (and has good taste imo).

The bench looks shite, I'd put money on the paint chipping off within a week. Am also totally bemused by the plug socket issue, the woman has zero common sense. Surely step one is to move the sockets lower 🤨
Did she even ask Rich if he would want a plug there? So the plugs is a fail, the table is a fail, the paint finish is a fail and the way it completely doesn’t go with the rest of the kitchen is a fail. What a bloody fail! I feel like these days a kitchen table its pretty standard to have a plug next to it.. especially when you work from home.. and for growing kids later on doing homework at laptop etc. Anna’s beige cafe will have plenty of plugs and free WiFi I bet (password RalphieChops) Lily - keep up! They could have added a double plug to the side or front of the actual bench too pretty easily given there was an outlet right there… it is so bemusing how much Lily overthinks stuff but at the same time makes such dumb decisions all the time.

It's not as if she does not literally have bathroom cupboards full of free-to-her-expensive-to-us body scrubs and lotions.
Yup didn't she do an ad for a razor/scrub/lotion and rave about it?!

She did say something about having dry Mum knees and I thought it was extremely dumb but now I have an almost toddler and spend my time crawling/knee walking after him it's happening to me 😂 the difference being I'm not constantly sent free tit that would solve it

Living with her parents into her mid-late 20s was a huge mistake for youngest child Lily (this is not a jab at adults with their parents in general, just Lily). She grew up spoiled, never developed any independence, any useful like skills, then she fell into a cushy media job that paid her more than she knew what to do with. Having her own home and kids didn’t suddenly make her a responsible adult with common sense and skills.
