My dad had to do national service (we're Dutch ) and still knows Morse code almost 60 years later.

Also love the 'and take notes before computers' as if her audience would not understand the purpose, or that people do still take notes by hand.

I was going to reply to her but I just couldn’t be arsed to deal with her thickness! I used to work for government and I used shorthand as no computer/recording devices were allowed in certain meetings. I’m 45
 
Love that Lily didn’t think of using her friends family bakery for the cake. I had a look and a rainbow cake from Rinkoff’s is £50, obviously more than the M&S cake, but cheaper than the ones she’s been quoted and would taste a lot nicer than a supermarket cake I imagine. Strange that she never supports her friends businesses, she’ll only promote them when they send her pr things

I keep forgetting about her friend's family bakery, but looks like Lily does, too.....

She’s probably annoyed they didn’t gift her a cake 🙄
 
Then, again why could she not bake it with one of her sisters, her mum or her grandma, YouTube, anyone really?
Also, after so many years of friendship with Anna, one might think they baked at least once together?...or was Anna always doing 'heavy duties tasks' and lily would just be adding her name to whatever project they were working on which I always suspected it was the case..
Sadly, I am not a mum yet - but when I think about it,baking a birthday cake for and with my kids is just the best thing ever I could think of!
She is very ungrateful and miserable it is odd at this point....

But also, who cares if Grey doesn't remember when she's 30? Lily would make her so happy THAT day. She won't remember everything, but at least Lily can sleep well knowing she made her kid as happy as possible in the moment.

But she won't because that's too much work when she's a busy London mum of 2.

I'm glad we're taking note of this today. Let's see what her reaction is to the lead up to Rudy's next birthday. Will she be moaning because her 3-year old won't remember or will she be running around getting everything a 3-year old who won't remember it wants.

There are so many mid-size faahion girlies who own their body shape+ mom status and can do actual styling instead of moaning about losing their style and identity, I think Poobs so terrible at dressing herself, in denial of herself as a mom, and generally so negative (which she justifies it all as being real compared to what we see on the internet)

They can describe things properly instead of adding

Spot on. Remember a couple of years ago, Lily made Grey sing “Happy birthday mummy and Grey” on Grey’s birthday. It was so bizarre. And strongly hinting Rich should buy Lily a gift.

Iirc Lily started giving her own mum a present on Lilys birthday after Lily had Grey, to make the point and establish it as a thing. I hope Rich told her to go do one.

More issues than Vogue.
