I'd put money on it being Rich who picks grey up most of the time anyway so Lily wouldnt have to worry about the fashion show at the school gates, she's too busy in the loft filming freebies.

But also, I'm pretty sure it's just a normal English primary school she is looking for. I didn't here her mention anything about prep school and in the U.k kids start in the September after their 4th birthday at a proper school. She did say she was looking at a few but it's not up to her which gets picked as I think that's down to what schools are over subscribed and where the local authority feel they can accommodate her. She said secondary school would be hard as there are "no good secondary schools" in her area but shes will be 14 tins of Hague blue into another house renovation by then.

She’s not a fan of Made.com. Says she ‘gave in’ and ordered from them. Doesn’t think their larger furniture items are good quality as they don’t last. Says there wasn’t much choice when she looked elsewhere so had to settle.

I hope Made.com haven’t given her a discount!
Made.com are doing awfully atm and will probably be in administration in the next few month, soubt they can afford to be gicing

If Lily went to an independent school, why isn't she prepared to pay for her own daughters future? Furthermore, Lily's grammar is awful so who is she to judge what makes a good school

Also when she moved into her house she should be considered catchment areas etc unless she plans on moving before Grey starts secondary school.

One of her pillars is beauty, guys

Hi guys
I have a question (I’m from Germany), why does lily say that grey will start primary school next year? Isn’t she only turning 4 in may? At what age do they usually start? Or is it more like kindergarden/ pre-school thing?
Here , kids start school usually not before being 6 years old.
many thanks!
In state schools, you start nursery the year you turn 4 (in September) and Reception (official first year of school) in September the year you turn 5.

I think it's so very Lily that she didn't prepare for looking round the primary schools and didn't know what to ask.
Both her children will probably end up attending whichever school Grey goes to, care a little and invest some time in educating yourself about your children's experience for the next 7+ years.
She also has two sisters with children. Did she not talk about this with them before going to visit multiple schools in the area?
But yes, very Lily to not prepare. It's only her childrens school..... and seeing as she never cared all that much about her education, why should she care about that of her kids, right? Sigh.
