Person A replied:
"But so so much plastic in your food delivery...."
To which Lily said:
"At the moment I am getting fruit, veg and meat delivered in brown paper bags in crates. If there was an option to opt out of plastic for online food shopping I definitely would"

To which person B replied:
"Supermarkets other than Ocado have stopped using plastic bags for their deliveries. Either ask Ocado to stop or shop elsewhere. I hope that currently you leave delivery slots for those who need it most"

Enter Caroline....
"Well done on attempting to judge and find something negatvie in a lovely post. If you read back your comment and don't think 'god I sound judgemental' you're in denial"

To which person B replied:
"Lily said she would opt out of plastic if she could. Shopping elsewhere will ensure no more plastic bags (I heard from zero waste bloggers that peper bags take a lot to recycle, too). And deliveries should be left to those unable to go during this pandemic. If that makes me judgemental so be it"

Caroline also replied to person A:
"How would you possibly know that? Trust the internet to find somethign negative in something positive"

To which person B replied:
"Lily has shown her food delivery before"

Caroline replied to person B:
"Well thank GOD we have you to keep check.
Not just judgemental. Don't sell yourself short. Also entitled and presumptive. Hope you have a good day. Maybe crack open a new notebook and pen to keep tabs on everyone need and tidy"


Wow, just, wow.

Person B only replied to what person A was saying and what Lily said she wanted to do, which was not have as much plastic in her deliveries, not specifically now but in future, too. And I quite agree that deliveries right now should be left for those who have health issues and can't go out. Lily is quite capable of getting out and about.

Well thank GOD we have Carole to fight Lily's battles for her, keeping her small and child-like, in need of protection from the big bad internet.

Isn't it funny how so many of these 'influencers' moan about the internet so much? If you hate it, get off it! Oh, wait........

My two most loathed internet grifters in one place! Loud mouth Hirons and moaning Lily - no wonder loud mouth defends her she’s just the same as Lily - completely unprofessional- (compare her with say Nadine Bagott or Trinny) utterly convinced of her own righteousness and actually just plain nasty. I predict both will be history in less than a year
 
Back to the plastic bag debate.
Person B is chatting tit tbh, all supermarkets are back to using plastic bags in deliveries and have been doing for the past few weeks.
(before anyone starts, I have a child who is vulnerable so we’re shielding as a family and online deliveries are a necessity, I’m only doing it every other week instead of every week like I have done for the last 5 years)

I deleted Instagram weeks ago, just as things started gaining fraction in the UK. I hate watch Lily though Instagram story viewer though. We’re the same age and I’ve never witnessed someone so, I don’t even think I have a word actually...maybe dismal would be good. Everything is sarcastic, rude, a moan - I don’t think I’ve seen her genuinely happy in years.

True, but in general all supermarkets except for Ocado have stopped using plastic bags. So seeing as this is an 'after all this is over' post from Lily, she may want to swap supermarkets if she's serious about reducing the amount of plastic she gets into the house.
Although, let's be honest, she wants her freebies too much and they all come highly packaged....
 
Now asking advice for a house plant. Is there anything now that she doesn’t ask?! She did have two rubber plants when she moved in to this house, one was dying and she gave it to her mum. I assume this was the slightly okay one.

I have a rubber plant too, the thing about it is that you have to fuff about it less. Water it when the soil is dry and put it in a bright corner and let it be. She probably moves it around the house very often, plant needs time to acclimatised

Yeah she moved it and then about 2 hours later was like "It's still not right, HELP!"
 
Is she for real with her latest stories? Things that look more expensive than they are. They all look so dull, especially that hideous shelf she’s got in the bathroom. The tiles on the wall look like they’re about to crumble and fall off

Omg I’ve also just noticed the grouting underneath the sink is so wonky. Lily must’ve done it herself

Lol she is struggling for content lol. The HM vase and the Ikea faux plant lol, right Lily. It looks so damn exp! Does she not curate and collect things when they travel? Her house is so bland
