I was quite surprised when she mentioned her bra size recently. The way she's banged on about it for the last X amount of years I thought she had an extraordinary size but she hasn't. I am the same size and I can easily find bras to fit in all different colours and styles and I can sweat in them and wash them but nobody must have told her.

So now every time I see her and she looks like she could do better it's because I know she can. She seems to always have an unflattering, dare I say "utilitarian" style of bra on under all her clothes. She needs to work out what shape will fit her best and what she needs rather than focussing too much on the size "issue".

Can't believe I've rambled on so much about someone's else's bras but seeing as I'm not a busy London mum it's one of the few things I've directly compared myself to so it's highlighted her incompetence.

Lily is the epitome of women who care about the size on the label. She’s obsessed. Instead of finding things that just fit well, she gets all in a tizzy that it might be a 14 instead of a 12. Because GOD FORBID you bring life into this world/get older and go up a size or two. She’s got so many issues and should not be doling out fashion or life advice.

Yet another spiel about AD labeling from our busy London mom marketing genius 🙄🙄🙄 It’s not confusing, Lily. You have to declare if things were provided to you for free (Ad-gifted), in exchange for money (Ad) or that you are then making money from (Ad-affliate link). I don’t have a marketing degree from a D-list uni and I bleeping get it.

Potentially 11% from an affiliate link? How can brands afford to pay this? I know with discount codes and things, brands can always afford to cut 10% of the price of an item, but I had no idea they were handing it to influencers the rest of the time. No wonder they spam us with this tit.

I was just thinking 11% isn’t a small commission that’s loads! Plus isn’t it on anything you then go on to buy from the site not just the item you clicked the link for? She must be making a fortune from links alone

‘You’d be surprised how often I get asked’. I highly doubt that and most people who are asking are probably just asking because you hide the word ad so they can’t see it.

This makes her sound like she's trying to admit something by covering up with a "lesser crime". She gets paid for ads and she's happy to put ad in the corner as that's qualifying her job existence.

Ads for gifts and affiliate links are ads but not really ads and she's being so open and honest with us about not having to say anything about it if she doesn't want to, just a measly 11% of whatever you spend but it's ok because it's not an ad ad- the lesser crime.

She never mentions about that 11% potentially being on whatever you spend until your cookies are cleared. So not as open and honest as she's making it sound.

Yes it adds a cookie on your device and they earn a commission on anything you buy from that website for ~30 days or so. That's why they dish out aff links to cast their net wide and therefore capture as many websites as poss.
👏🏼👏🏼

If the ASA changed the rules from putting "AD" to "SHILL" all these points would make perfect sense as she is gaining a profit or gift or service from putting them on her platform. End of conversation. It's really not that hard. I think it's only Lily that struggles with it tbh.
