I don’t really like Amelia or what she wears but the girl can dress for a black tie occasion. How hard can it be Lily? The dresses she bought are not even fancy, let alone black tie. They’re all polyester and ill-fitting, how tragic.

Amelia grew up with this kind of events, she is on another league. However, this is not an excuse for Lily. How can she not know how too google BLACK TIE.

I have been to a few black tie weddings in the UK and US (Fall and Winter ones mostly) and while there are people who do go all out and wear floor length dresses, the ones I've been to I've seen cocktail dresses and tea dresses worn. The key thing is to make sure the shoes are formal (solid colour) and if the dress is a dark colour as long as you get your hair done and do your makeup well you can pull it off (you won't stand out).

Lily isn't buying floor length b/c she's cheap and wants something she can wear elsewhere or can resell easily. She could use this time to really go all out and post photos of her with her hair and make up professionally done but that would require money she doesn't want to spend which makes no sense since she's an influencer.

However I do get the feeling many of Lily and Nanna's friends esp Lily's have pushed back and said not to feature them or any of their events/outings/etc as part of their influencer content. While picking out a dress and taking a photo outside the wedding or a nondescript part of the venue is fine, I think they are worried of calling too much attention and monetising on their friend's special day and pissing off their friends.

Don't get me wrong I think cheapness is the big thing here but i do think them "stealing thunder" from their friend's special day is another one as well.

I’ve noticed she’s stopped filming and talking about Rich too. Wonder if he put his foot down because she was so condescending and his coworkers/friends were making fun of him for it.

I think there was a "discussion" on this and both of them came to the agreement that the loft is the primary place for Lily to film/photograph her influencer content b/c they don't have to worry about the kids messing it up or cleaning after them. She'll film time to time in the kitchen and her bedroom vanity when necessary but otherwise its those spaces. Now that Lily has hired an official photographer/someone to film, there is no official reason for Rich to be included in her content. I do think there was a moment that caused him to pushback and why Lily invested in a photographer which honestly was a smart move on her part.

Lily wasn't brave enough to make those boundaries until Nanna made them by not showing Ralph and other parts of the house. Once Nanna did it Lily quickly followed suit.
