Little River it should be breaking your heart Jade... because by you not getting the help and support he needs you're stalling him.
Where I am, SEN is such a hot topic. Yes the waiting lists are long but the schools and nurseries have tried and tested methods implemented already to support them. She needs to be working with his child care provider not against them. Not denying there is a problem. He won't get there in his own time. His world is weird and confusing for him and he needs those around him to take charge.
Imagining that little boy totally baffled every day is heartbreaking.

For someone who spends every waking moment scrolling instagram, she MUST be able to see the worlds of difference between River and other children his age. You’d certainly notice it in toddler group settings but of course she doesn’t do anything like that!

yeah I use to think that maybe she was keeping it private but she’s made a fair few comments that shows she is still in denial

Unfortunately she has made a lot of comments about it, mostly referencing that not all children hit milestones at the same time (totally true), and how she's not worried and that he'll get there in his own time.

Because she has said she has no concerns and all babies develop in their own time and he will get there.
That doesn't sound like someone advocating for their child. It sounds dismissive and passive.

Who does gender reveals anyway? Particularly as she claims she has no mates? It's very odd, but perhaps I'm a bit old for this americanisation of everything (I'm 44).

You don't have to go into detail just let us know he's got the support in nursery and outwith he so desperately needs. You could gain more following by being an active asd mum and bringing much needed awareness to asd children
