I think he probably chose to be sober for a short time to pass the drug testing for his US visa then once he got the all clear, went back on the drugs.

He’s probably asked the hotel to sort him out and as he was a VIP client they wanted to please him. Or he spoke to individual staff member who wanted to impress him.

The mail mentioned that he already had experienced childhood trauma that had damaged him before getting famous. They said they weren’t going to reveal what it was but does anyone know?

It’s strange how there was no CCTV outside the hotel or in the surrounding area which would have captured then circumstances in which he fell. Like if he was attempting to leave he would have been seen climbing over it etc.. not saying I would want to see this footage btw, but it would help in the inquest

It would also help his family understand his final movements and know that it wasn’t actually suicide and he fell
 
Just wondered if Nicole S had posted or released a statement about Liam?
She was key to the band getting out together and then I saw she was due to work with him on a Netflix show.
All I’ve seen her post is about her broadway debut (which is fine) but just hadn’t seen her post anything re Liam which I found odd (considering some folk who did post).

I saw ajs (bsb) post and I can imagine that hit him hard again and made me so sad. I know how hard AJ too Aarons death and now Liam, they were together in Manchester in August to film some of the Netflix show 😫 I wasn't a huge 1d fan as I'm a few years older than Liam but I did play their songs alot and story of my life is so hard to listen to and watch now :( I hope all those who loved him are there for each other as this has been an extremely hard one with the press. Absolute circus.
 
Didn't he have a whisky bottle found with him when he died. I think it was likely he was sitting on the balcony or leaning over swigging out of a bottle.
 
I'm not a 1D fan but I can't stop thinking about poor Liam. Even had a few dreams. God know how his family must be feeling.

I stumbled across a few tik toks of Liam before his passing. Mainly his GFs videos. And I did feel sorry for him like he wasn't all there.

I did think some of his previous video were cringe. But since knowing more about him I think he was just trying to be a fun guy.

Generally if you jump you will have facial injuries. it sounds like he was taken to his hotel room and left inside. Obviously not of sound mind due to what he had taken, I think he’s climbed over the balcony to drop to the one below to escape. And has happened to fall backwards. It feels really wrong even thinking about this let alone talking about it, but in human nature we are inquisitive. And it’s just a thought I had. Regardless he was a very loved man, who’s little boy more than likely thought the world of him. Who’ll also grow up to be able to google his dad, which is sad 😢 May Liam rest in peace xx

I was thinking something similar. Paired with the fact her had a bag and hat on. It’s like he was going somewhere. I think he tried to sneak out past everyone by climbing down the balcony.

but then this pops up?! What the hell, who thinks about making these things?

I think the timeline is concerning. If he collapsed in the lobby area and showed evidence of drugs/alcohol, wouldn’t the first thing you do take him to a private room - off the lobby area - and contact the hotel medic to supervise while you call an ambulance. What was the point in taking him back to his room? Who was in the room at that time? I’m not coming up with conspiracy theories but surely there is a protocol in place in every hotel that should be followed if a patron is in an unfit state? This all looks sketchy at best especially now we know at least two members of staff were supplying the drugs.

So, from his semi-conscious state in the lobby, we go to a room where he falls to his death at the time of the 911 call that basically predicts his death from the balcony?
 
I just wanted to echo what other people have mentioned in here - I haven’t been able to get it off my mind either. Liam’s death has struck a real chord with me. I wasn’t a One Direction fan or a Liam fan, but something about this has really knocked me. The fragility of life perhaps. Wanting to know what was going through his mind. Was he just trying to climb down the balconies to escape and fell? I don’t know. I will probably never know. But man, this is so sad.

I’m glad this thread hasn’t been closed to be honest, I kind of need it right now and it’s opened up some interesting discussions.

The netflix show has filmed already according to IMDB, theyre just not sure whether to air it.

Who is the child meant to be? Presumably Bear, who is 7 and not 2? What a maudlin photo. It makes me feel a bit queasy.
