We know that James is very keen to quote the Financial Times. So what are his thoughts on this?

Our country is in a mess at the moment, there's no denying that but to make out the rest of Europe and the world is some sort of paradise is wrong.

I've just got back from a trip to Cyprus. Just before I went there was a thing going around on twitter about the cost of a jar of coffee in Morrisons being £9. In a supermarket in Paphos the same jar was €8.95. Several taxi drivers ( they are the same the world over 😝 ) were busy telling me about their cost of living crisis.Rents becoming unaffordable. Properties being built but only for the wealthy etc etc

However, I will concede their weather is much better and so are their tomatoes :ROFLMAO:

North Cyprus? You want to tell us about your tax 'arrangements'? 🧐

Why should there be anything untoward? You are allowed to go on holiday (nearly) everywhere in the world, without informing the tax authorities - do they give tax relief if you only go as far as Brighton ?!!!!

When it suits his agenda !

Colin from Windsor on the line to Ferrari
"You are best pals with Boris aren't you Nick"
😂

His twitter account came up on my feed just now, it was clear from a scroll down that he's busy on there. When I say busy, I'm talking nearly 60 tweets today alone. His first post on the other place was 7am.

Daren't begin to specify which 4 letter words come to mind to describe him, I'd be instantly red carded.

It may well be a cry for help/attention

Anyone know what this is about? Did someone say Rishi Sunak reads Jilly Cooper to his daughters? The original tweet has been deleted but James seems to be running with it ...

For the record, I have no idea if Rishi reads Jilly Cooper or not (I do) but I know my husband went though a phase of reading Sidney Sheldon and Jackie Collins because it helped him switch off so I can see it.

If they're going through a horsy phase, Riders would appeal to them. He'd have to censor it but it's not quite as explicit as her later books.

It seems to have triggered Sangita

You've lead such a sheltered life. Get the nurse in Brinsworth to get you a hot chocolate and a copy of Riders.

What are Nadine Dorries' books like? I wonder if they sell more than James' tomes? I better go, I need to rush out a get Sadiq Khan's book ... sounds amazing. 😬 Amazing these politicians find the time to write their little self-aborbed books ... not so for James of course, with his 3hr 'working' day.

I read a review of O'bingo's "How to be Right..." book - "chloroform in print"

LOL. I think it might be me insofar as I've always found it difficult to 'blow my own trumpet' so when I hear James constantly trying to promote his book(s) I makes me feel queasy, even if they are tit. I didn't last long today, he's doing yesterdays phone-in again, but trying to get callers to agree with his 'take' this time. Yesterday was a bit of a disaster for him, bless.

I heard Nick shouting at some climate protester this morning and just thought, why can't the girl just say, in a really sweet, piss-takey way: "Thank you so much Nick, the only reason we do these stupid stunts is for the national publicity you so kindly provide for us each day!" ... I think his fat head would explode.
