God the news is so repetitive isn't it. Not just LBC, but it applies to all news and radio across the board  not sure why I put myself through listening everyday. I'm weird. Ha.
After decades of listening to LBC continually, when Steve Allen left I lost patience with the station and it's constant diet of of bad news and repetition of bad news and more bad news.....it's unhealthy. For heaven's sake, it's still Brexit this and Brexit that and Brexit the ruddy other, round and round and round. I miss Steve and Theo Usherwood but the rest, if ever it tune in, is so dull I turn off again immediately.

I'm radiostationless and I hate it.

Amazing to see a #roberthoudin #mysteryclock on @BBC_ARoadshow last night. Plan your visit to our HQ and see the wonder that is The Robert Houdin Mystery Clock. Details on how to book in our biog. (and ours has both hands)

I can't really disagree with anything you say. Another thing ... just because a show or a station has high ratings doesn't necessary mean it's good. I think The Jeremy Kyle show on TV had massive ratings and it was one of the most hateful depressing things I've ever bleeping seen.

Geezus ... bad time to tune in. Caller to James: "I find discussions about Brexit triggering ... I've got a mental health disorder ... I have clinical depression ...". Sometimes you just can't help people can you ... why on EARTH if you have those problems would you listen to O'Brien? I'm lost for words. I turned off for a bit in the hope it was someone playing a joke.

He probably knew the news about Rolf Harris was about to break..

Someone is crying 😢

About his identity. Slight over reaction.
He got a lot of love from the listeners though....That will make him feel better, won't it? Everyone is standing with him as well at Platitudes Central

I don't understand what you mean, could you elaborate? Oooh, you mean 'identity' ?
Yes. The way that guy was talking you'd think he was being oppressed or persecuted, which is the only time I think the issue of identity should cause tears. UK law is pretty good at protecting people from that stuff. If someone wants to call themselves European nobody is going to come Knockin on the door saying they can't.

I enjoy tuning in to James but there's definitely a rise of winding people up to near nervous breakdowns. Its just not cricket. Think it was last week a female broadcaster had a lady on in tears too, might have been Sheila.

Its wrong.
Was it always an echo chamber.

It depends how far back you want to go. Way back there were for more magazine type shows with much more varied topics. Then a few years ago LBC went national and became serious talk radio that was political heavy. Then Brexit happened etc etc and it's been that way ever since. It seems to get the listeners though.

Thanks. I'm relatively new. I think I'm in agreement with the majority of views that I listen to, no high blood pressure yet, hearing people crying was a low point 😬
