I think we're a bit bored :ROFLMAO:
One for the road.... 😁

The last couple of hours of Jumbo's show today were ok. Biggest disasters at work followed by of course, Delilah.

I do find the Delilah thing weird how some songs gain traction for being inappropriate and the vast majority of songs with 'problematic lyrics' no one bats an eye lid. Baby It's Cold Outside was another one. personally I don't care I'll still enjoy Delilah and I'm sure the crowd will still sing it.

Has no one ever listened to the words of Bohemian Rhapsody, White Lines, Every Breath You Take, Coward of The County, I Did What I Did For Maria ?? etc etc

Have to quote myself to correct the incorrect spelling ... obviously I meant write not right
I Shot the Sheriff has a problem too. I doubt that not shooting the deputy will help much....

I do sometimes wonder if those who cheer bully boy O'Brien on have a Be Kind notice on Twitter?

It actually dawned on me that James can't actually DO anything. He's the opposite of a renaissance man, which is quite embarrasing given the opportunities afforded to him from early age. If he lost his LBC gig I don't know what he'd be able to do, maybe that's one of the reasons he's so afraid of someone covering for him being better etc. etc. Sorry ... rambling.

The call with 'Andy' was brilliant ... LOL. I think James' intention was to belittle him and embarrass him, but Andy stuck to his guns ... I mean nothing he said made much sense, but he was ernest in his belief and did make one good point: "You won't ever change your opinion about Brexit whatever I say". It must be so depressing for Jimbo ... well, maybe not insofar he's carved out a career from it.

In 2016 millions of people voted "Leave" with little or no understanding of the functions of the EU, the Single Market or the Customs Union and absolutely no awareness of the consequences of their vote. *

James O'Brien is performing a public service by exposing some of these people to a little sunlight although his methods can be really unpleasant.

As you said, nothing Andy said made any sense but he was earnest in his belief. People need to be educated.

* Obviously I'm not referring to contributors to this forum who all knew exactly what they were voting for!

I had a pretty good idea of what I was voting for. One thing I am sure of is that if the vote had gone the other way, I wouldn't still be whining about it six years later, especially as there's little or no chance of reversing the decision.

The UK public were asked to make a binary decision on a hugely complex situation while being fed misinformation and dishonesty from both sides. I'm glad you understood all the issues but Andy (the caller) certainly didn't.

This is the ideal male body type. This is what peak performance looks like lol

To be fair it was from an article he did about getting rid of moobs and he said it had caused him embarrassment ... however I'm sure it was a freebie and he wasn't too embarrassed to pose in a national paper!!

He did lose a lot of weight after his brother died. I think that must have shocked him. I think he's put it back on now though.

February 18th is the date you need to put in your diary.

James O'Brien, Celebrity Mastermind, Specialist Subject, The Books of J. D. Salinger

Pretentious twit. I really can't see your average punter looking for some light ent. of an evening being riveted by that. Rather have Steve Allen on there answering questions on The History of Costco or Christmas Lights. :cautious: I bet he takes it really seriously too ... Let us know how it goes, if you can bare it.

God I hope he doesn't win. Not that I'm being mean but can you imagine how many times he'll mention it if he does?!!
