I notice in the 'other place' that somebody has linked a Tweet that says Darren Adam has left the station. Unusually he is still listed as a presenter - from 1am. As somebody previously mentioned, they normally remove all reference to someone who has left.

I see we are about to roll over to a new thread. I suggest the name should be LBC Chit Chat 7.5 !

Yes I saw that Big One. It was only then that I finally twigged who Ladona Harvey is. She was the US correspondent from a California radio station who LBC used to feature in a little slot just after about 3 am once or twice a week with an update. Bit like Nathan Morley used to do from Cyprus. Before Darren Adam she used to feature on Duncan Barkes when he did the overnight show an perhaps even before that with Anthony Davis.

I used to like Anthony Davis. A man of many talents. Seems to being doing ok in America these days.

Steve is taking it all very personally about taking cakes into work (Steve doesn't take cake in btw just satsumas and sweets 😆 ). He must spend a fortune every day. I'm sure he said he brings in about 60 satsumas. Though I might have misheard that.

It is unlikely that I am ever awake at 3am to hear that, and even if I am, I don't switch the radio on as I would not get back to sleep!

David Lammy on his high horse again (does he ever get off it)? Let's see if David is good value while he slates everyone else this morning:

I'm also enjoying Ali, Maggie, although I agree with you that his final hour today was a bit hardcore. He's an excellent presenter and a good find for LBC. I'm wondering if he will become the new weekend regular with Richard Spurr apparently moving to weekdays?

Must be hard keeping track of all that. No wonder he has little memory lapses when it comes to declaring it to the register of members' interests. And makes you wonder why he claims thousands in expenses.

James should be in touch about reducing the tax he pays. Perhaps that is why he is keen on others paying more tax.

I thought that the assisted dying discussion was very thought provoking. First time I've heard Ali Minaj and thought he was excellent.
 
"fish face Farridge" is back.

I have learnt over the years that James O'Brien's name calling is usually a cover up for his mistakes.

Then we see it as his "Russian agent" Boris Johnson is in the news again for all the help he provided Ukraine and thus hindering Russia.

Many will dislike Boris but on this he did well and James continues to make a fool of himself.
