I understood that he resigned because he couldn't face being politically neutral.

To a certain extent, I could see his point. If on LBC he was saying "Boris a coward, a liar said ....." , but then appeared on Newsnight, and (straight faced) said "The Prime Minister, Mr Johnson said ....." It would sound a bit hypocritical !

Remember he was only holiday and sickness cover. But somehow got delusions of grandeur.
 
Is there some sort of time difference on DS ?

As you can see this was posted at 11:22. PMQs didn't start until 12:00. Maybe she is a mindreader?!

I can understand it too to a certain degree but the BBC is a national broadcaster and it's presenters must remain politically neutral. James couldn't go with that, which I respect but he should also accept it was his decision. He chose a platform where her could rant and rave as much as he wanted but why the bitterness towards the BBC? It's bizarre.

It was posted after PMQ and when I go back now the time shows as 12.22. Maybe your time settings? Not sure whether DS has a summertime setting.

I was quite surprised to read that comment though 😯

Oh dear, when showbiz-news queens attack. People like Richard Arnold should be launched into space ... grown-men cooing about boybands on TV. :rolleyes: Can't TV companies find young-vibrant presenters for this sort of thing rather than men in their 40s? Even worse Arnold seems to be under the impression he's somehow amusing and witty. I find him most peculiar, even sinister.

He's playing his greatest hits, what are you talking about!? His fans love it. I actually don't even think he likes the people who either pretend to like him or actually do. It's the classic Marx (Groucho, not Karl) thing of not wanting to be a member of any club that would have you as a member. He made a snide remark earlier this week (all his remarks are snide tbf) about a lot of callers just wait for his view and then call in and repeat it to him. Oh dear James ... seems maybe the caliber of your listeners isn't quite up to your high level of intellect. Quelle surprise. :rolleyes:

David Lammy Sunday Morning? What about Church? Sorry, I can't stand that bloke ... it's so obvious he's desperate to be a 'celebrity'. It's so unbecoming of someone who is supposed to be a public servant. Makes me sick to my stomach. I quite liked that Maajid guy (sorry if that's spellt wrong) ... what happened to him? Did he get binned?
 
If LBC are in blanket coverage mode (I suspect they are already) I wonder if they'll replace fanny early tomorrow morning with Ferarri standing in to take the reins?
