Do the anti-poppy brigade not realise that by urging people not to buy one they are depriving the British Legion of the donations that keep the charity going? Whether you choose to wear the poppy, bin it or give it to your cat to play with, the act of buying it helps service families and ex-service personnel who may need support. (Sorry - off topic)

Needed to be said though.

What has happened to Andrew Castle? Is he off sick? Sacked? Fed up of LBC?
I do moan about Andrew, but he's not a bad egg. I hope he's quit and gone onto to better things, for his sake.

ps. I just heard Farrige is going into the jungle for 1.2million ... how can the client media reward failure like that?!?!!? 😂
I believe he was getting a lot of hate from folk who can't stand him, but still listen to his show, every weekend, maybe he's taken a hiatus from the hate.

I hope he has. I did think he was in a bad place at the end of his last show but hoped that I was wrong.

Does he really need all the angst? I'm sure he's financially secure and can afford to find something less lucrative but more enjoyable. He seems a very decent man.

Let's face it, he was a tennis player who then got into presenting some breakfast TV. Whilst you may have to interview or cover some political heavy news it's not the same as arguing non stop for 3 hours with angry people.

It takes a special kind of person to do that stuff day in and day out. Ferrari has the hind of a rhino and O'Brien positively thrives on it.
Nick Abbott has said covering the war in Ukraine for 2 weeks solid ( he must have been covering the 10pm slot I assume) when the war first started absolutely did him in. Left him a wreck. He's very strict about not mentioning Israel/Palestine on a Friday and Saturday.

Plenty of poppies being worn wear I live. I found myself giving a lot extra to the poppy stall because I was so annoyed about the latest carry one.

Poppies grow in my garden ... I have no idea why but I love it.
