I cannot believe that Oli Dugmore has been given a second chance after turning up late a couple of weeks ago. I listened to a bit of him yesterday morning and switched off after 5 mins. I gave him a second chance this morning and he was just awful. So patronising to anyone who does not share his opinion. Reminds me too much of JOB.

I am warming to Colin Brazier who I think has improved over the weeks and doesn't come across as brash as he did at the start. Looking forward to Ali Miraj in the 10pm slot next week.
Just had a look at the schedule. Ali is doing the 10pm-1am slot next week. So sitting in for him 4-7am at the weekend is the next worst thing to Oli Dugmore - Marina Purkiss!

Dear God no!!! Where do they get these people?

Thanks for the warning..She's enough to finish anyone off before the weekend has even begun. At least the football's back..Isn't she a WAG in her other life?

Shelia Fogarty doing the 10am slot today, christ..as if 5 days of her torture is not enough

Did she really? I have seen elsewhere comments on J O'B's programme and according to the LBC website Shelagh is on air now. Ben Kentish at 4pm and Ali Miraj at 10pm. Finally Clive Bull overnight at 1am.

Theo Usherwood is on Sky News at 10.30 doing the paper review. His fellow reviewer is the obnoxious Yasmin Alibhai Brown. The Yasmin Alibhai Brown who said she'd leave the country the minute Boris Johnson became Prime Minister.

Andrew Castle is receiving a lot of praise this morning.

Colin from Windsor will be excited as he never misses a minute of his favourite weekend presenter.

Colin, a Scottish Nationalist who lives in England, and tunes in punctually every morning to listen to a broadcaster he hates and spends three hours typing the same criticisms on a loop, made a post today telling Ferrari that he was logging off from listening so he could watch the England's women team play a game of football.

These people walk amongst us.

These people wil say anything to get their little bit of minor fame on TV. I wouldn't worry about it. I'd like to see Yasmin have a cage fight with Polly Toynbee, I think it would be a good match-up.

Tuned in briefly to James' show yesterday and he was promoting his book tour rabidly..
---

Just so that no one misses out...
Perhaps he is getting nervous after the Daily Telegraph reported this. Sorry for the sizing switches as it was behind a paywall.

"
LBC owner shakes up management amid decline in listeners
Key figures depart at UK's largest commercial radio group as audiences tune out"

With someone coming in from a place James hates.

"

Darren Singer, a veteran media executive who previously worked at the Guardian, stepped down as chief financial officer in July.
He has been replaced by Ben Porter, a former Rupert Murdoch lieutenant at Foxtel and Sky.

BIB ... James won't like that.

The the very few times I've tuned in recently James was covering topics he previously derided, such as congestion charges and traffic problems etc. etc. It'll be electric scooters running over people on pavements next. Poor James, we must think of him during these times.

I really cannot see this affecting programming. The shakeup is, I belive at Global rather than specifically LBC.

There's no reason why it should to be honest. I know someone who has worked at Sky, Global and Talk Radio (office based) and it's literally just a job. Politics has nothing to do with it.
