She won’t cancel. It’s a party for her rather than Laorse. It’s an ego trip. No way would she miss the opportunity for a bit of attention. I can see the headlines now “Lauren puts on a brave face following her trauma” with a photoshopped to buggery pic of her moon face, with begged for balloons strategically placed in the background.

I had my eldest childs first birthday party at ...wait for it..a Toby Carvery 😄. He only had one little 'friend' (my friends son) the rest were family, friends. We popped them in highchairs with a Yorkshire pudding and had Colin the caterpillar cakes. I just didn't see the point in spending lots on something he won't remember - I however will remember it always as he ran off, hit his head on a low table and we spent the night in hospital.

Can I just say that when I heard the awful news this is the first place I came as I knew the scruchies would be united in shock and sympathy and ultimately I feel like that is what happened ❤. Glad the thread is still ongoing.. to purloin TS, Schruncies gonna scrunch (scrunch, scrunch, scrunch, scrunch).

Exactly this. What’s the point in all the balloons and tit? As I said, it’s not about the baby. It’s an ego trip. Make it lavish and over the top like it’s her party.

Toby Carvery, I hope it wasn’t on a Friday, that’s BYG’s special day at TBC.
 
Why so many balloons though! All those strings are giving me anxiety. It’s my boys first birthday in a couple of weeks. I’m just getting him a number 1 a few loose balloons to chase round the room. No party either . We are taking him out for a day he will enjoy to soft play. La’orse will just have cameras infront of her face the whole day.

The reshare for Lorena did make me feel sad. This must of been hard for her, planning a birthday and a funeral in the same week doesn’t bare thinking about. If Larose grows up without having issues it will be nothing short of a miracle. The edited photos, body image issues she would of grown up surrounded by. 2 sex work parents that have their images plastered all over the internet and living in the shadows of a sister that didn’t get to live in this world with her.

It has been a scorcher today. Still 31c in my bedroom even with 2 fans on! 🥵

Think the heatwave will be over tomorrow and everyone will be returning fans to Argos 😂
