Just saw that now, looks like a wart maybe?Did anyone notice a big lump on the side of her jaw? She had her hair half covering it. Wonder is that why she doesn’t come on now
Quite clever if that’s true, she wouldn’t be the first person to quit a job they didn’t like after it’s served it’s purpose for them.It appears she has got her mortgage all done and dusted and then chose to leave… supposedly got a job with Dogs Trust as their media person…..
I wonder will she mention that she has bought a house, or is she secretly ragin he has announced it first. Surely if she’s trying to be so “out there” as a single white female, getting a mortgage on your own in ur mid thirties is appealing to other followers. Instagram nowadays is all about the big weddings aka sinead de blogger, niamh de bruin, Houses with sponsored furniture, or then it’s babies and the family holidays. I stoppedShe definitely bought a house and sent the mortgage broker a mug with his face on it to say thanks. It's the_mortgage_guy on insta. He tagged her and showed her card she sent to say thanks.
100% ragin, sure I’ve found out on tattle she has resigned and got a houseAs much as she irritates me, fair play to her for being able to save and buy a place on her own. I would say she is raging that the mortgage bloke broke the news before she did
I know a good few people who have all changed their mortgages based on information we have all shared over a coffee. I lowered the rate of my mortgage on advice of others who were changing mortgages. Changing my rate was something I never knew I could do. I was getting letters in the post from the bank but it was double Dutch and it’s near impossible to meet a mortgage advisor in a bank nowadays. I was on the same rate for 10 years when I got my mortgage so Changed the rate and dropped my repayments. It’s all based on the LTV of the house and with house prices going up people Who have mortgages can get their repayments down - I was able to knock 11 years off my Mortgage and that was just through chit chat in work So someone who has being through the process lately and explain in simple English can be a great source of advice and information! As a single person trying to buy right now, fair dues to Laura, its not easy!
But im not sure what kind of information she can give re buying that isnt already out there. Keep your accounts clean, save as much as you can, you might get 4.5 times your income but most get 3.5 times. Help to buy availble for new builds. Shes not going to have a hot take that reivents anyones mortgage/housebuying journey
Fair enough,to be honest i'd have thought that was common knowledge, but i do work within the finance industry so i guess its easy for me to think that.I know a good few people who have all changed their mortgages based on information we have all shared over a coffee. Gardai at the moment are resigning in their droves. Mostly new gardai that have joined in the last couple of years but also a fair few with many years service under their belts. It's a tit job and management are a micromanaging pile of TWATS. Also, not all gardai can retire at 55. You need 30 years service, so it depends when you join. Also, since they upped the joining age to 35, and you can only stay till you're 60, lots of the newbies have to buy back time or contribute more to their pensions as they won't get the full 30. Actually, I think the new ones have to do 35 years. But still leave at 60. So I'm fucked if I know what the older new recruits will do when retirement comes.Have you ever known anyone leave the guards? A pensionable job you can leave after 30 years service,? Someone frugal like Laura leaving early? I’m telling you we know she was ‘moved/downgraded/relocated’ to a desk job several years ago. If this is a resignation I bet you she was managed out & I don’t even mean she did anything wrong, could be the opposite. You get bullied out of that place it’s toxic. Someone could have bullied her and she spoke up- I’m just guessing.! But come on. Laura is frugal she’s been trying to set a mortgage - this isn’t a normal move so hope she is ok
