No, but it’s finished now. Katie Pipers Sunday Show is back. Oti’s is still continuing on a Saturday. Laura was definitely a stand in for Katie while she was filming another show.

Gossip was that it cost Whitmore and her agents over 20 grand of her/their money for the additional lighting and branding, all to plaster her name over it all.

ITV then did some basic branding for Oti at their own cost to make the two shows sort of match

She claimed on her Instagram over the weekend that viewership doubled, so probably about 30 people and they were all family and friends of Whitmore forced to tune in.

Seriously though, imagine feeling the need to point out viewership doubled during her tenure, pretty much begging ITV for another run.

I find the images of the helicopter arrival, two years in a row, to be a bit tasteless, given how stretched many 'ordinary people' are in these difficult times. Some of her followers may well be unable to fund a few nice but modest days out for their kids during the school holidays this summer.
