Kym is a self-centred, narcissistic adulterer with an avoidant-personality disorder. As soon as she pulls in a man to commit to her emotionally she sabotages it by rushing to a safe non-intimate affair scenario. (Hence the Ryan Giggs affair)

Essentially, she is fine to be fed emotionally by her partner but can’t reciprocate by meeting any of her partner’s emotional needs. It’s why she found it easy to dump kids off with her folks - any obligational emotional connection she can’t handle.
Thus - she is bored easily and so she rushes out to get a new supply and deliberately sabotaged any intimate connection she ever finds herself in. Lily Allen is exactly the same. Meanwhile, their men cry into their pillows and wonder what they’ve done wrong?

Kym had an affair with Ryan Giggs??? I never heard this before.

She was desperate for her fame and her awful family indulged and facilitated it (and trust me her family are awful, particularly her creepy brother and foul mouthed sister), colluding with her to hide the existence of the children. She lied and deceived the judges in order to obtain a place in the band, and she really should have been kicked out for that in the way that Nadine Coyle was on the Irish version of the show. The whole point of teen pop acts is that they are relatable to their young audience, and 24 year old mother of two isn’t someone a 12 year old is going to identify with that.

I she absolutely didn’t need to. But did the single female or other male members of the band need to either? No they didn’t. No one did. But she has a talent and wanted to use it to help provide for her kids future.
Why the duck shouldn’t she have free reign to do so??? The fact that she HAD to lie is the tragedy. Not the fact that she lied. duck off and stop supporting the patriarchy!

She probably didn’t want to chance it with Nigel Lythgoe! Though he seemed cool with her having kids once she spilled the beans. Though it was all on camera, so he had to say that lol.

She was already in the band and living with them in a shared house by the time The Sun got wind of her having kids and published it. The judges and production company would have looked like they were discriminating against her if they’d have kicked her out. When Pop Idol started I remember Simon Cowell saying he’d had kicked her out if he’d have been a judge on Popstars (he was supposed to be but backed out at the last minute).

Olly Mellor did a kiss and tell on her after their affair ended, so I’d imagine it was him who the family drew dicks on.

The point is she likely wouldn’t have got that far had she disclosed her kids upfront 🙄
