I really rated what she said about giving birth. I think she was really honest and refreshing about the almost cult like ‘normal birth’ story we’re all fed, when in actual fact that in itself is dangerous.

I really cannot stand this woman. Has an opinion on subjects she knows nothing about, eg. her latest inteview.

What did she say?

Even without the family money and privileged background, she's 50 now, so she may have been able to buy a house at 21, but that's nearly 30 years ago. A LOT has changed since then 🤷 some 21 year olds these days only stand a chance of owning a property if they inherit one, and a lot don't even have that as a possibility. Why do ridiculous out of touch people like her get any airtime?

I cannot access The Times interview.

I'm so fed up of privileged people exposing their ignorance while patting themselves on the back, believing they're being generous enough to 'share their wisdom' with those less fortunate. bleeping idiot.

I've only read snippets of her latest interview and it's just so patronising to imply that anyone can buy a house, even a cheap one in a tit area, by cutting out Netflix and Costa coffees when most people are shitting themselves about whether they can afford to turn the heating on right now. Massive bleeping idiot.

Yeah lets compare shell we....

She bought her house 21 years ago with the help of Daddy and when the cost of living was cheaper. So she thinks cutting out coffee and Netflix is going to help buy a house when the coat of living is more then the average person earns?. for a start you would have to save about 50 years just by cutting out Neflix and coffees.

Not only did she buy her first flat at 21 (with family help) but the job she mentions (when talking about taking a sandwich to work for lunch) was at her mothers interior design company.

Exactly. The cost of rent is through the roof and trying to save for a deposit aswell..

She actually made a few valid points but as usual it's easier to run with the negative comments rather than the meaning behind them. She was not being literal when she suggested that simply stopping Netflix will get you on the property ladder but was meaning if people genuinely want to do this then sacrifices along with serious saving is needed.
