Even without the family money and privileged background, she's 50 now, so she may have been able to buy a house at 21, but that's nearly 30 years ago. A LOT has changed since then some 21 year olds these days only stand a chance of owning a property if they inherit one, and a lot don't even have that as a possibility. Why do ridiculous out of touch people like her get any airtime?

So she thinks cutting out coffee and Netflix is going to help buy a house when the coat of living is more then the average person earns?. for a start you would have to save about 50 years just by cutting out Neflix and coffees.

Not only did she buy her first flat at 21 (with family help) but the job she mentions (when talking about taking a sandwich to work for lunch) was at her mothers interior design company.

She actually made a few valid points but as usual it's easier to run with the negative comments rather than the meaning behind them. She was not being literal when she suggested that simply stopping Netflix will get you on the property ladder but was meaning if people genuinely want to do this then sacrifices along with serious saving is needed.
